Guptill always starts fairly slow. He almost never smashes from ball 1. He tends to go after bowlers after 10-20 balls. A fair bit of odd analysis going on in here. He's definitely in poor form but it isn't like he didn't capitalise on loose balls. India bowling well

OK. I don't want to gang up on the guy, but his posts do make for pretty strange reading as a NZ fan. I was hoping he had some substance to him.

Apart form looking good, there is also the issue of scoring some runs, whilst there are only 2 fielders in the deep. I realise this WC hasn't produced the wild power play sessions we perhaps expected, but this is the other extreme of it. It's good bowling though!
