Yes Bairstow seemed intent on getting straight on top of Hassan, just pulled one straight to the fielder. Obviously didn't mean to stick it straight down his throat but with the bigger square boundaries at Cardiff and the man posted out it seems a daft shot to play, surely getting on top of it would have been a better percentage shot.

This has been very good bowling from Pakistan. I think more pressure applied like this, they can get England for under 250.

Not sure of the exact conditions now but I rremember in the 2013 finals, it was more about the moisture softening the pitch and our spinners surprisingly made better use of it than the English seamers. But generally moisture content on the pitch will aid both swing bowlers and spinners with the movement off the pitch and the softness of the track.

Fair bit of talk about Morgan not quite getting off to the positive start he did against Australia, this is pretty simple, Pakistan haven't fed two or three nice throw downs yet! They've bowled much better at him and he's having to work hard straight from the off.

This is a used pitch isn't it that was only used a couple of days ago, so it is going to be a little worn and really will only get worse, if just fractionally.
