It's obviously both but it's not as if most Indian batsmen have had a great time on these surfaces of late either, and they don't get the excuse of facing Ashwin and Jadeja.
But that’s mostly players who are **** everywhere now.
Guys like Rohit and Pant have been fine, as has someone like Agarwal. 6th and below average and not a huge amount of tests yes but Jadeja averages 60 or something in last couple of years at home

In fact had he batted a little higher for longer he'd probably be avg more than Mayank & Rohit.
