Oram is in the 90's. 92. Hope the big man gets his maiden Test century.

If Tim McIntosh keeps piling on the runs, it seems like he might get a go. But if Richard Jones get a good score in the 2nd innings, and continues that in the State Shield, he might be prefered to open with Richardson.

Well Anzac, you headache is solved because Cairns is out of the Test because of a virus! You can't really leave Butler out because our firepower is already weakened by the loss of Bond. Richard Jones is tipped to be into the XI at the loss of Cairns, and might open to allow Vincent to bat at...

McCullum's batting is still inconsistent. If they were going to dump Hart, it has to be his keeping not his batting. Because that would just make a ridicule of the selection process. Here are McCullum's scores so far in the State Championship. 76 (104), 5 (7), 22 (15), 21 (26), for an average...

Well McCullum has dropped as much chances in the ODI game than Hart. Bracewell answered this question very well. Hart's batting is not mediocre. He has saved a few matches for us with his dogged batting, namely West Indies.

Same class as Vettori though? I know he has worked hard on his game, but his technique against Butler was absolute shocking. Exposed all 3 of his stumps on several occasions and looked clueless on the bouncers. Tuffey's highest first-class score is 89* while Sami's is 41*.

Yeah I made a mistake. Just never thought the pitch would be as flat as this.... Razzag looked uncomfortable against the new ball, he has no feet movement.

Yes he is. Wasted the new ball for us. Very unlucky though to have that catch dropped by hart.

Yes I regret that... Moin made 0 and 1 against Auckland and looked out of sorts against the likes of Hitchcork. Sami wasn't that great. Tuffey and Butler is still better than him.

Yeah but most of Hameed''s runs were scored against the great Bangladesh. He hadn't scored above 30 in his last 8 test innings before this.

Shame Auckland aren't going for the win now. Shame McIntosh can't break into the squad for the 2nd Test as it has already been named. South Africa is his only chance now.

    What's happened to Chris Martin?

Many have surpassed Chris Martin now. Michael Mason, Jacob Oram, Jeff Wilson, Kerry Walmsely, Ian Butler....

But 1 more wicket exposes Razzag who's average is not that flash. Only 28. Then its the tail. I'm still quite positive about our chances.

Tendulkar slips out of top 10 in Test ratings

And Gilchrist's overall Test strike rate is 85. Pretty impressive aye.

There is still 9 more sessions left. And that equals to 180 overs. It's silly to say a result is out of reach already. Pakistan have a long tail with Moin Khan at 7, who got 0 and 1 against Auckland. Razzag at 6 isn't that convincing either. The pitch is taking turn and by the end of the 2nd...
