Tendulkar should be sacked from Indian team as should Ganguly....they are over the hill and overrated.

So bloody typical of India to lose two quick wickets like that........

Ponting is the biggest choker of them all !

Wow, that's really intelligent Sanz....take one performance and use that to determine whether a player is a choker or not. 8-) And it's not even relevant to the argument at hand.....which is comparing different batsmen's records in run chases. If Tendulkar's performance is poor during run...

My take on the India test team: 1) Ganguly should NOT have been picked but enought of that. 2) I wouldn't have picked Dhoni....c'mon his first class average is 36 and he only plays in the 2nd division of the Ranji trophy. I would have persisted with Dinesh Karthik a bit longer - his keeping has...

India One-Day Squad Evaluation (Chappell-Dravid Era)

MUrali Kartik is an average bowler IMHO. Seriously, the time has come I think to give Amit Mishra another go in the India jersey (both test and ODI).

Mcgrath was never as good as he was at Lords, fior the rest of the Ashes series, after he stepped on that cricket ball. There was just something missing from his bowling. Even the most one-eyed England supporter would have to admit that. In Kolkata 2001, he was fully fit. Kasper 2001 was most...

Cauldron of intensity = the Eden Garden stadium, 100,000 screaming Bengalis, the last frontier about to be conquered, Mcgrath Gillespie Warne and Kaspa (all fully fit) and only Laxman and Dravid standing in the way.

Laxman's 281 was definitely played against a better attack and on a wearing Eden Gardens wicket as well.

BTW, I don't dispute KP is a superb talent for England. I realised when I saw him play in the Duleep trophy in India in 2004, that he was going to be pretty special.

Check Laxman's average since 2001 - its a better indication of how good a player he is. In fact for a period of 30 matches - he averaged 63 - That's decidedly world class. His overall average is skewed by the fact that he was rather stupidly forced to open the innings in the early part of his...

All time Asia Vs Rest of the World - Test

Sachin Tendulkar and Duleepsinhji are/were better players than Inzamam. And it is highly debatable wthere Qadir was better than Kumble, Chandrasekhar and Gupte.

I think the Indian cricket team should train in the foothills of Kargil. Particularly a good climb up Tiger Hill or the heights around Khalubar and Kukerthang will be good fitness training for our boys. :)

Isn't Saurav Ganguly such a lovable character ?

Put an i in front of the h and you're there.
