    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

For NZ, I dont want Williamson having to bat in the first few overs, like Root, Smith and Virat I want him to bat at number 4, he is so important for NZ. For next Test i would open with Ravindra and Latham, Young at 3 and Williamson at 4. NZ only chance seems to bat first and for Williamson to...

Williamson does 2 things, score big 4th inning hundreds and chews bubble gum. and he's all out of bubble gum...........

    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Do you guys know the the 2 fastest and bouncyiest pitches over last 5 years? Christchurch being the fastest and wellington the second, think Gabba was the 3rd. So England doing well on these fast and bouncy pitches is a good sign for the ashes imo

    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Was impressed by Orourkes pace, consistantly 145kmh plus, lot of edges that flew for four. Still feel NZ can bowl England out cheaply. Even if England get a lead the pitch is so good for batting Nz gunna need at least a 300 run lead for England to chase. NZ is gunna need a big Hundred from...

Whose test career will end last?

Williamson just turned 34 apart from his injuries as he gets older he gets better at scoring 100s. Can see him going to 40 because of his technique and NZ dont play many Tests. Think if healthly he can get 45 100s, would like to see him retire from international white ball cricket and just play...

    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Im guessing NZ are slight favourites? Looking forward to England having to face O'Rourke. He was troubling the Aussie batters with his pace and bounce which says a lot. If Williamson scores 2 or 3 100s and NZ can keep Root quiet, then NZ is a chance at 3-0

    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

GP 80 odd against Aussie earlier this year made me think he does have the good to average 40 plus. He looked like a genuine normal top order batter, and cos he wasnt with the tail he played normal I think he is batting to low, basically most innings he is with the tail andhas to farm strike and...

Thank You James Anderson- Farewell Thread

I still think they made a mistake in dropping him, he is still by far Englands best bowler. I dont care about age, if he is good enough he is young enough. Why did they keep Woakes? he 36 and unlikely to play the ashes, actually he doesnt even wanna play outside of England. As a Kiwi I am glad...

*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

Should New Zealand try a horses for courses approach? I think we make Latham Keep, that way we can drop the keeper and play 3 seamers and 3 spinners, maybe bring in Santner for the WK? edit, without Williamson its a risk playing 1 less batter, but we need to be creative to try win.

*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

No Williams is crucial for NZ especially if we bat first! such a shame. Bumrah vs Williamson would be great. I really hope he is fit for the 3rd Test.

Also why does Glen Phillips seem a better bowler than Patel? even Ravindra got more spin than Patel

*Official* New Zealand tour of India 2024

Think India will do fine in Aussie, after the 3rd new ball its started hooping around and Henry is deadly with his wicket to wicket bowling with some nip, and O'rourke was really troubling the Aussies earlier this year with his pace and movement, which is suprising as he only bowls about 140kph...

New Zealand doom and gloom thread

He literally wanted to focus on Tests, he was selected for the ODI team and told the coach Bracewell that he wants to focus on Test Cricket. (bracewell focused more on one day cricket) So he was never selected because of a gripe from bracewell. Its a shame, I thought he would of been a good Test...

*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka

Ravindra has to farm the strike 2mrw, cant expose number 10 to the first 4 balls, Nz still a chance, but he is gunna have to play excelent and probably hit some 6s.

*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka

Henry should definatly played for Santner, also GP should bat at 6, I wasnt a fan of GP at first thinking he's a 20/20 hack but his 87 he scored against Aussie was class, I know he's at 7 to hit big with the tail but feel he is slightly wasted, I'd have him at 6. He has that X factor about him...

its pretty flat? probably gunna be flatter on day 4 after being covered for the rest day

*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka

Dont think there are many Demons in this pitch. 2mrw on the rest day the pitch will be kept covered, which will probably flatten the wicket even more (if I was Sri Lanka i'd be wanting the pitch exposed to the sun to deteriorate it) Think NZ can chase 300, Williamson is due with a big 100 and a...

The 1st tier Steyn Bumrah Rabada Cummins The 2nd tier Anderson Philander 3rd tier Johnson 2013-14 was 1st tier Hazlewood Starc Shami Boult Morkel Could of been the best this century Bond imo the best of the lot, beautiful action, massive inswing, bowled medium pacers line and length at...

Rank these bowlers on flat pitches

Cant believe NZ cricket forced Wagner to retire. Even the touring Aussies where suprised as they had prepared training camp for dealing with his bouncers
