    Was Murali...

because that one had official ODI status, which means his figures would have gone into the record books.

    Was Murali...

If it was 10 or 12 runs an over it might have been possible...but 20? no way...

    Was Murali...

Considering that today's match didnt count towards player stats, do you think Murali was a bit generous to Fleming, knowing full well that every 4 and 6 hit would earn money for the Sri Lankan victims of the tsunami?

    Best ODI ever ?

Yeh I forgot them too. There are way too many to choose one. How about we get 5 choices?

    Best ODI ever ?

Yeh this is another one which comes to mind.

    Best ODI ever ?

Yep agreed. That was a classic. Another one was ENG vs SL in 98 when Murali got called for chucking. Hick played well, and then Jayawardena played a blinder. Ironically Murali hit the winning runs as SL chased down 300 to secure an improbable victory. That match had everything -- high scores...

    Does Chaminda Vaas chuck?

His name was included in a FoxSports report, even though the claim was denied by the ICC.

    Harbhajan Singh's action reported

15 degrees has been suggested by leading biomechanics since 2001 or 2002. To say the law has been changed for one man is just wrong.

    Does Chaminda Vaas chuck?

Yes but some segments of the media seem to be oblivious to this fact.

    Does Chaminda Vaas chuck?

yeh you might be right. but my question is whether you think he chucks. Perhaps its to see the integrity of this forum more than anything

    Does Chaminda Vaas chuck?

What disturbs me are a number of media articles citing Vaas as having a "suspect" action. I'd never heard such claims until Robert Craddock named Vaas in a 7 man chuck hit list last month. The following day, the ICC denied such a list. It sounds a bit weird that a guy bowling at 120km/hr is...

    Harbhajan Singh's action reported

Well 22 degrees is a lot. Murali got his down from 14 to 10 so I'm sure Harbajan could as well.

    Harbhajan Singh's action reported

22 degrees seems a bit excessive. I thought it would be a pretty obvious chuck if its 22 degrees.

Walsh says Murali victimised because of success.

first it was "everyone thinks Murali chucks". When this is disproved, its some new excuse. (lol...I'm even called an idiot). Obviously if ex cricketers (Walsh, Bradman Gavaskar) as well as Biomechanics (Foster, Elliot) all agree that he doesn't chuck, then he DOESN't chuck. Simple.

Walsh says Murali victimised because of success.

for those who missed it, here is my list again: People who support Murali: - Slater - Holding (Slater claims this in that SMH article) - Dean Jones (see above) - Gavaskar - Steve Waugh ("Murali is the Bradman of bowling") - Mark Nichollas (has written a number of articles in defence of Murali)...

Walsh says Murali victimised because of success.

Actually Muralitharan has a lot of fans in Australia. If camel or got spin had bothered to read my earlier post, they should have been able to conclude that. I must say, however, that it is fashionable to call Muralitharan a chucker in this part of the world. But it is also a generalisation to...

    Most Under rated Aussie player

Hayden seems to give me the impression that he is more form than class. This is changing though. I think Martyn is fairly under rated, perhaps because he can't dismantle the bowling attack in the same way some of the others can.

Walsh says Murali victimised because of success.

umm those people could just say nothing on the topic. For example, Mark Nichollas didn't HAVE to entitle his article "Murali is the victim of umpires on a crusade". He could just have made some diplomatic statement like "Murali is a successful wicket taker." How can someone say he is against...

Walsh says Murali victimised because of success.

Its not cheating if 99% of bowlers in the history of cricket are in the same boat. People who support Murali: - Slater - Holding (Slater claims this in that SMH article) - Dean Jones (see above) - Gavaskar - Steve Waugh ("Murali is the Bradman of bowling") - Mark Nichollas (has written a number...
