    Oram to retire

well said, and I agree with most of it apart from the fact that I believe number 8 is too low for McCullum to bat. If he plays a good knock then he wont have enough time to bat with the tail that was outlined. Thinking about it now, I dont want Vettori at six in test matches but wouldnt mind it...

    Oram to retire

Whilst I agree about the fact that McIntosh isnt going to succeed in the long run,Daniel Flynn is a a different case for mine. He looks the part to me and although he has failed to nail down his spot he hasnt failed terribly either. He will be as frustrated as anyone at his inability to convert...

    Oram to retire

I read contrasting articles today, one saying Vettori and McCullum should interchange between 6/7 and the other that Franklin is the man for number six (test matches). Which would give us test orders like this: McIntosh / BRING BACK HOW Guptill Flynn Taylor Ryder Vettori McCullum Franklin...

**Official** New Zealand v Pakistan in UAE

Tim Southee seems to have fallen completely off everyone's radar. Back in August he was given a central contract so there must be some reason for that.

**Official** New Zealand v Pakistan in UAE

From what I heard, Ryder is no chance for the ODI series and is targetting the "away" tests in New Zealand in late november.

**Official** New Zealand v Pakistan in UAE

Some of you might cringe at the idea, but I wouldnt mind Danny Flynn getting another run in the ODI side. The problem was that we played him at six which never gave him the time to build the innings that he needed. With McCullum and Guptill up top fot this series we can afford a strokemaker...

    World Cup 2010

Got up to watch the All Whites this morning. Bahrain probably had more chances but I wouldve felt hard done by had we lost, so the draw was probably fair. Ryan Nelsen is world class and there is firepower up front. I do feel asthough we need to get Leo Bertos to push forward more, getting balls...

    ODI Cricket Team Draft

Need a keeper, think ive got a handy one in Rodney Marsh. I no just need another opener, probably a big hitter to use the powerplays, and a middle order batsman. 1. Nathan Astle 2. 3. Ricky Ponting 4. Javed Miandad 5. 6. Chris Cairns 7. Mitchell Johnson 8. Daniel Vettori 9. David Boon 10...

    Champions Trophy XI

Ok, I will have a go at a side Watson Smith Ponting Guptill Collingwood Elliott Malik Vettori Broad Lee Parnell I was probably a bit harsh earlier on Ding Dong but more importance needs to be placed on how important their roles were. For example, Vettori, Elliott and Guptill were crucial in...

What has happened to Nnanden, he is well past his time ad he created this draft. Perhaps someone should just make a new order.
