Well Quagmire, they actually did get the records. Mahartaab got test best bowling (innings) and Jamee999 got 6th wicket partnership, beating Quagmire!

    Updated Database

More a post directed at Haddin, I have started collating the squads for ACC Update for 2006. I am using KentLad's updated database (hope you don't mind KentLad, forgot to ask). I will update all Aussie histories (try to) up to the South Africa series. Mind you, this may take a while due to Uni.

    ICC 2005 Records

Okay, since there has been no great improvements in records, updates will be limited (possibly monthly). Also, I see a prominence of artmoney threads coming up. So I will have to scrutinise closely.

    ACC Patches.

I was the editor of the ACC patch but I have not touched ICC 2002 since ICC 2005 came out. I am also in a Uni course and will be hard pressed to find time to edit it. But if you download the editor, you can do it yourself. Instructions are on the forum thread.

So are Australians really Chokers ??

The bowling attacks for both sides were depleted and not in form. Only Lee and Brakcen for Australia was in form and Clark and Lewis are not at international standard yet. And Ntini and Hall were the only 2 for South Africa that could do damage. Telemachus just bowled crap at the end of his...

Turning Chances into Wickets in 2005

My combonation of bowlers is usually 3 paceman and 1 spinner. The paceman have varied but I like each bowler to be different eg. RFM, LMF, RM, OS (which I have at the moment). I don't know if vaired pace helps to get more wickets but the combo doesn't let me down too much. Back to the inital...

    wicket keeper question

No specialised keeper v Specialised keeper I am playing the Ashes in 2037 with Australia. I have a veteran keeper of 100 tests and the English team has no keeper but 7 batsman (all openers mind you.) Below is screenshots of Aus 1st innings in the 1st test, Aus 1st innings in 3rd test and...

Can we please stay on the subject? I hate when tangents become the main focus. I don't want pestering and putting-down of other users because their records aren't phenomenal.

    wicket keeper question

I had a great keeper after Gilchrist called Max Kelly. Took more dismissals than any other keeper but since he reitred (ages ago now) I have not had a consistently good keeper. Each year my keepers go through rough patches of dropping mountains of catches and getting out cheaply. I replace them...

Umm, there are a few problems with your record Quagmire. There is a screenshot of a Sth Africa v England match in the 5th test and all the rest of the tests are against Australia. Also the total runs scored only goes to 1575 runs.

    ICC 2005 Records

ash, it's a great effort. Don't mind Quagmire, he can be modest at times. The world record is an innings and 579 back in 1938 so I won't worry too much. And also, what form of the game was Damien Martyn's 100?

    ICC 2005 Records

Quagmire, did you see cpr's post? I didn't quote it but he said it would be better to see the test records screen for your game to prove your 10th wicket 300-run partnership. If you cannot show this screen soon, your record may be removed.

    Optimum Age

I think the optimum age is 27-28. Emerson Sherborne is my off spinner and for the first few years of his international career, his average was high 20s in test. Now it has come down to mid 20s. However, my best bastman (Frasier Makepeace) was better in his 30s than in his 20s. Keepers I still...
