Adders, based on your namesake, here's your avatar mate. Enjoy. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/07/12/a1/0712a16da7e2e9e031ff1608ecad5b0e.jpg

5 y/o already better than his namesake

The Cricket Web Podcast #21 - The Post-Truth Universe

You pulled the wrong Lever Jake - it was your namesake JK of Essex who was accused of cheating by using Vaseline to attach some strips of gauze above his eyes rather than our Plank
  4. Blocky

Which current batsman would have been good in the old days, without modern bats etc?

We're cherishing an innings of 44* in a total of 85 where he didn't protect the tail as being an example he can play in moving conditions, despite three failures out of four in them? I think you're just plumping for your namesake.

***Official*** Australia in South Africa + South Africa in Australia 2016/17

It's really just a matter of trying a guy. But the selectors go for 'experience' because it's 'safe'. The bowling's great except they're always injured. Starc getting some better control and not bowling long hops all the time would make it even better. Read all about it. Mennie was top wicket...

***Official*** Australia in South Africa + South Africa in Australia 2016/17

...Condersing the next two spinners off the rank (Agar and Boyce I presume?) are averaging between 40 and 50 with the bowl. Also, strictly for namesake, Marnus Labuschagne should be selected. I mean, that name, plus it's against his country of origin, THAT CATCH and he's kinda, sorta in form...

Sanath for Fleming? He is your namesake?

Pujara fandom is not just about the man. Much like his namesake Che, It's about an idea. An idea of rebellion against the suits. An idea of freedom against the narrative of mainstream media-corporate axis. An idea of being so good you can ask the bosses to go **** themselves. Let Prince Pujara...

A horse called Ronchi scored an unexpected win here at Ellerslie this afternoon. I hope that bodes well for his namesake.
  12. Flem274*

The greatest batsman who averaged in the 40s

"i read some opinions so they must be true" Dempster and Donnelly were better County batsmen, but they're gonna need a few more tests to say they were definitely better than Fleming as test batsmen. If you've played bugger all tests and get the wraps Cowie got, fine, but qualifications like...
  13. Zinzan

The greatest batsman who averaged in the 40s

...if you don't know about his reputation as one of the top NZ bats ever, you need to do some reading. Honestly doubt many cricket historians would argue against those 3 being considered better than your namesake. If it's any consolation, Fleming would be the skipper for my all-time NZ 2nd XI..

ICC Best-Ever ODI Championship Rating Draft

My namesake, Jimmy Amarnath - 600
  16. cnerd123

Starc, chameera, amir, rabada or Joseph

...that pace and those angles. And he's so smart (with ball in hand). I want to call Amir a better bowler because he's just so much more well rounded, but Starc produces more unplayable deliveries than any bowler I can recall, apart from his namesake Johnson. Can't really decide whom I rate more.
  17. vcs

Starc, chameera, amir, rabada or Joseph

...I'd put my money on Starc, I keep getting the impression he'll suddenly crack the code in 5-day cricket and go on a ridiculous run like his namesake did for those 8 glorious Tests in 2013-14 (though hopefully his lasts a bit longer). He dominated the last World Cup individually like no one...

    "200 Tests or less" Draft

tricky decision, but I'll blow 79 on my namesake, Andrew Flintoff

    Debuts & Retirements draft

Insane depth in batting. Number 8 is one of the best batsmen of his era.
