    Awesome contribution to NZ cricket. If anyone from NZ was going to do a Jimmy Anderson and push on into his 40's my money would have been on him but looks like his bowling style was just taking too much out of him.

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

    Not sure why but Bettelheim is playing club cricket in Hawkes Bay but Hawke Cup/rep level for Wairarapa. Believe he has also played in the Wairarapa club T20 so all seems a bit strange. I hope he does get a go soon

    Only 12 players now with more test centuries than Kane. He centuries per innings ration is by far the best at 5.48. Next best is Smith at 5.96. The other two of the big 4 sees Kohl at 6.58 and Root at 8.36. Kane is really underrated by NZers for how good he really is.

    How worried should we be about how inept the U19 batting has been? Forty three innings so far at twenty-eight of those have been ducks or single figure scores. Only 3 scores above 30. I know we've never been overly strong at this level but they seem to be out of their depth.
