Road to India in Australia 2024-25

Green not really being fit is a great excuse to drop Smith down to 4 and pick a proper opener really. Let Green recover from his injury properly instead of making him bat and field with a stiff back. I don't see the point of picking Hardie when Marsh is there - I know he doesn't bowl heaps but...

Love how much this applies to Watson, even right down to the bowling load.

    *OFFICIAL* England in Pakistan 2024

There have only been a handful of bowlers at that level across the history of cricket so it's a pretty high bar you've set there.

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

    Cartwright just loves getting bowled.

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

I don't really think his batting is even good enough to play as a keeper at this level, let alone a specialist #3 bat while Hughes carries drinks.

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

I don't mind Konstas being picked ahead of Hughes if it's a binary thing, but Gilkes batting three as a specialist bat makes it weird. I'd much rather have Konstas or Hughes himself there.

    Junction Oval Harris runs. Standard.

    *OFFICIAL* England in Pakistan 2024

Don't think any of the other bowlers are good enough to bat 7. Dawson for Woakes would have made sense but he's not in the squad. Should have left out Carse, who is arse.

As a result we can now also say horseshit.

    Sangakkara or Ashwin in tests.

Everyone's a winner at Parramatta Leagues.

    Sangakkara or Ashwin in tests.

This post is ****ing stupid and you should feel bad. Did you spend your time writing it beating your chest, jacking off, or both?

I'd definitely pick him in Australia if he was fully fit, allows the balance for Jadeja and Ashwin to both play with a stacked deep batting lineup.

Yeah Miraz batting so well lately could definitely see Shakib dropped for Taijul when they want to play three quicks.

    Sangakkara or Ashwin in tests.

How is this in any way close? Ashwin is getting absurdly overrated by some people on this forum. I'm not full @subshakerz on the issue because he's a bit too analysis by check-list over it for me, but jeez.

    Carse is arse.

    Kraigg Braithwaite vs Tom Latham

Well he's been clearly better than the alternatives, as is evident by the fact that he's not even been the worst opener in the side.

    2024–25 Australian Domestic Season

That's probably about what Sam would take on Test debut tbh.
  18. Prince EWS

Top allrounders to debut in the 21st century.

Philander batted seven a lot more. He was effectively selected as an all rounder even if his batting output wasn't justifying it that much.
