    Marnus Labuschagne vs Damien Martyn

Labuschagne is a HTB but tbf to him he actually has to fight off early shine off the ball and face the opposition's bowlers at 100% and didn't have the luxury of batting after/with Hayden/Langer/Ponting. Martyn however, I rate higher than Labuschagne against all forms of pace bowling in general...

Pakistan team is very nice, they won't make us bat twice in the heat 😛
  5. Johan

    *OFFICIAL* England in Pakistan 2024

    *OFFICIAL* England in Pakistan 2024

a spin wicket would be kind of stupid to make considering Duckett/Root/Brook are all capable players of spin while Pakistani batting isn't capable against anything.

    *OFFICIAL* England in Pakistan 2024

bowl them out day 1 and let Root/Brook bat 3 days imo

Bowling All Rounders or Batting All Rounders +

    Hammond's good at home though, 50 batting average is pretty good, meanwhile Greig Home 31 matches 1682 @ 34.64, 58 @ 37.92 Away 27 Matches 1971 @ 46.93, 82 @ 28.10

Bowling All Rounders or Batting All Rounders +

Greig's the OG away track Bully, with both the bat and the ball
  12. Johan

    Joe Root is number one

Smith a league of his own, hope Root has a monster ashes down under and Smith has had in England.

Best players in certain age ranges

I see where Rashid Khan takes inspiration from.
  14. Johan

    Joe Root is number one

I think there is a very subtle technique change, I think he makes use of his wrist more and plays a bit earlier than he used to, but mostly his mental approach has changed a lot.

    Ricky Ponting vs James Anderson

ok yeah that actually works, thank God
  16. Johan

    Ricky Ponting vs James Anderson

15-16 to it being close though, that's satisfying.
  18. Johan

    Jacques Kallis vs Ricky Ponting

I'll say as Young batsmen – Ponting ~ Dravid > Kallis Primes – Ponting > Kallis > Dravid Declines – Kallis > Dravid > Ponting all three gun, I have Ponting higher and near the top of the tier 2 ATG batsmen.
  19. Johan

Better Batsmen during Early years – Ricky Ponting vs Virat Kohli

looks like Kohli has an ATG tour while Ponting has an ATG year (1999)
  20. Johan

Better Batsmen during Early years – Ricky Ponting vs Virat Kohli
