*Official* England in South Africa Thread

Ok i'm not the biggest Hoggard fan or anything but come on give the guy a break. He's out of the side for 2 years gets picked and doesn't do too well....what was everyone expecting? Hoggard has come on leaps and bounds as of late, I say he deserves another chance. If Hoggard "needs to go" then...

PCB seeks Waqar Younis as Bowling couch!!! Decision Announced on Tuesday!

Couldn't agree more, I can never understand why so many great past players are never taken on as coaches of their respective countries.

*Official* England in South Africa Thread

Thats for stereotyping me, I dont even support Australia, i'm born in England. Oh and I think Murali is great, the English outfielding last time they were here was poor and the Symcox incident well theres idiots from everywhere so yet again don't stereotype a country based on a few incidents.

*Official* England in South Africa Thread

Heaps of sportsman including cricketers bait the crowd, the New Zealanders do it to us in cricket, we do it to them. Who cares if Pietersen did it to the South African fans, the stick the fans and apparently the SA players have been giving him he derserves to give some back.

    Fifteen degrees of freedom

Charlie Griffith is proof you can gain an advantage via 'chucking'. Read the Trueman, Compton or Barrington autobiographies if you want to know more. All recall playing him in 1959 and him being nothing special and of average pace. Then they recall him 3-4 years later bowling extremely quick...

    Fifteen degrees of freedom

Yes it really does give an unfair advantage. Many people can generate much higher speeds via throwing or chucking the ball as opposed to actually bowling it.
