    Shaun Pollock vs Ian Botham

Pollock for majority of the career was an ATG bowler. That is better than an average seam bowler and average batsman.

    Muttiah Muralitharan vs Ian Botham

Debatable. Impact wise Botham struggle to be in top 20.

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

Jayasuriya, Pollock, McGrath and Murali to replace Lara, Hadlee, Garner and Saqlain.

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

Warne is not even the 2nd best ODI spinner

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

When you have Pollock, you don't need Garner. Their adjusted ERs are almost the same. Then Pollock could really use the long handle, and is a better fielder too. Whether you use Bevan over Jayasuriya is dependent on whether you pick Gilchrist over Dhoni. If you pick Dhoni, you don't need...

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

Jayasuriya easily ousts Garner as a player. It is not even close.

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

Let's see. Richards, Pollock, Jayasuriya, MS Dhoni, McGrath, Murali, Wasim, ABdV, Tendulkar, Kohli

Did Marshall and McGrath have it easier?

Nah, he could still be a 22.5 averaging spinner without any support, the level of fitness, and the tactical geniusness where he could hold and attack at the same time are the reasons he is a legend. 800 comes somewhere down point 4 or 5. Shane FFS was only 92 short. We can say with a good...

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

Bevan is way overrated. He is not that one of a kind player anymore as in 90s. MS Dhoni and AB De Villiers are clearly better batsmen than him.

Did Marshall and McGrath have it easier?

No he cannot. But the ones he get would be hell of a lot cheaper. Instead of 800, would have ended up with 650, and instead of 22.5 per wicket, 20.5.

Did Marshall and McGrath have it easier?

Getting to the tail by a single bowler don't work all the time. By a pack works almost all the time. And the one on song blasts the tail.

McGrath & Lillee vs Donald & Steyn vs Imran & Akram

No need to kid yoir self. We both know what itis.

    Richard Hadlee vs Ian Botham

Maco, McGrath and Imran makes a fine combo. Top tier and different in height, modus operandi, awkwardness and tactics.

    McGrath. Ambrose. Steyn.

Loved to see a WI series in SAF when Donald was at his peak.

ODI : If you could pick just one - Sanath Jayasuriya vs Andrew Flintoff

It is. Jayasuriya, MS Dhoni, Gilchrist and Pollock are the top four dogs for me in ODIs. Tendulkar is there and there abouts, but his absolute disaster as a captain pulls him down. May be Kapil Dev too.

McGrath & Lillee vs Donald & Steyn vs Imran & Akram

Because he was not tested on unhelpful conditions.

Who among the four allrounders would have done better in T20s?

Imran would be the previous birth of Bumrah in the IPL

Who among the four allrounders would have done better in T20s?

Imran would have been that super bowler in T20s, awkward, hard to hit, swinging Yorkers. Kapil and Botham both are fast medium, and on plumb tracks, would be taken to cleaners. They would be good batsmen however, with good strike rates. Bowling most likely to be rudimentary. Hadlee is difficult...

    Richard Hadlee vs Ian Botham

Imran has the claims for the greatest ever cricketer with Sobers. Stop pretending peeps.

Did Marshall and McGrath have it easier?

Warne would have been half the bowler he was without McGrath.
