    ***Official Australia in India***

For the test match, I think the bowling line up should look like this: Lee Clark Johnson Bollinger For mine, Johnson has shown on day 1 of this match alone what he can do, and my opinion has changed on him. I still think that with McGain out and Krejza as dire as spinner get at this level...

So Cribb how has your opinion on Krejza in India differed after this days play?

    ***Official Australia in India***

A few positives and a few negatives about todays performance. Firstly, Johnson did well, which I like. I think he has a big part of Australia's fast bowling future, and if he can perform in the test series, on these pitches, it would do a world of good to his confidence. Whilst I seem all...

    Pre season training

Wow, I didn't make the rep team. I really expected to, I was one of the best players there. And as for the Presidents son making it. Pfft. His spin is dire as a wall, I could bowl better spinners than him, probably with my eyes closed to! Oh well, I am going for a job on Saturday, and ringing...

That is dire. I want Jaques to retain his position at the top of the order. The only reason I would want him replaced is through injury, which has occured, but if Katich has a good game, he will stay in the side, even if Jaques is fit. I suppose it is a win win for New South Wales whoever is in...

Wow, one hell of a side India have there. Why would they have Pathan batting at 11 though beats me. Good luck to Siddle and Krejza in particular, and please fail Johnson.

2008 the worst year for cricket?

Not a good year, not a bad one either. Unless you come from Pakistan of course. I've enjoyed the limited amount of Cricket I have seen, and I am really pumped for the matches coming up. India will be a cracker, New Zealand a good challenge, and South Africa hard to beat. And I have not even...

    ***Official Australia in India***

Sorry, I just saw the headline that Watson is not playing the practice match. I don't think many people actually think Bollinger will get selected over Johnson at all. It's more hope. He is, as I have said many times before, and made a whole thread about it, explaining why he should not be...

    ***Official Australia in India***

So after the latest injuries, provided Watson is out of the first test (which is unlikely), I think we should have a line up similar to this: 1. Jaques 2. Hayden 3. Ponting 4. Hussey 5. Clarke 6. Katich 7. Haddin 8. Krejza 9. Lee 10. Bollinger 11. Clark That is our strongest possible line up...

    The avatar challenge

Nope, that would make me actually want England to win, which I would never do, so no.

Wow. Sharma not in, Tendulkar to 7 and Ganguly 4! Australia have this series in the bag.

    ***Official NRL 2009 season thread***

Season 2009 is a long time away, but we need a thread to discuss the off season drama's, player movements, sides, etc. Start off with what you think your best possible line up for 2009 would be. 1. Anthony Minichiello 2. Amos Roberts 3. Mitch Aubusson 4. Sia Soliola 5. Shaun Kenny-Dowall 6...

    ***Official*** NRL 2008 Thread

Great news. We have Roosters v Rabbitohs and Broncos v Cowboys to start the season. Could it get any better? :p I can't wait for the 2009 season to start!

    Do you like Matthew Hayden

I like him. He seems like a good bloke, a real family man. His interviews are a bit scratchy, but that doesn't really matter. He puts ages into practicing and when he plays, he usually comes out tops on the bowlers.

    ***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2008/09

****, I didn't know Harris was leaving and Gellispie retiring. South Australia are fricked! I agree with that. And I hope, for your sake, you get Vaughn on board, even if it is only for a few matches. He can rebuild his confidence and hopefully find some form playing for you. And he may help...
