Is it time to sack dave hussey

Give him a crack in the test matches after Symonds returns and there is no other injured batsmen awaiting return. Perhaps after the Ashes he should/could replace his brother if his brother continues failing.

    Blooding players in Twenty20

David Hussey is better at FC cricket than the shorter forms, he can bash the ball, but he should be next in line to be picked for the Australian test team, IMO (Symonds, Watson etc [the injured blokes] don't count).

Watson should and hopefully will be back opening the batting next series against Pakistan. Watson should be opening with Marsh IMO, and with Symonds at 5, Haddin at 6, we have some late powerful batsmen who can hit a ball but can also reconstruct an innings. Our full strength batting order...

Who's going to play all five Tests?

From the Australian's, Ponting, Clarke and Johnson are almost certain to play all 5 tests.

    Who's going to win?

I'm going Australia 2-1 if we pick the right sides.

But they can't prove anything. They can prove they can have a hack, but a line and length 9 times out of 10 bowler won't get to show anything when he goes for 40 runs off his 4 overs, or a grafting batsmen won't do himself any favors by batting too slowly or trying to hack and failing.

We should be opening with Hopes and Haddin, and pushing Clarke down to 6, Mike Hussey to 7, Ferguson to 4 leaving Ponting at 3 and Dave Hussey at 5. I don't see us getting anywhere near the total if Clarke wastes balls like he usually does.

    Blooding players in Twenty20

Why does it happen? Why do players, older ones as well as the younger breed, get brought through the ranks with Twenty20?

I couldn't care less about signature sizes, I have them disabled because it makes the forum much easier to read and less messy and clogged up.

Thursday 9th April Fairly crappy day today. Did a 22 minute cardio workout with jogging, sprints, skipping and boxing, ate 400-600 calories over my calorie limit, but on a positive side I got 140 grams of protein.

    Wisden's Dream Test XI 2008

Amla seems a very forgotten man. Ponting made the 3rd most runs in Tests in 2008, 1182 @ 47.28 with 4 100's and 5 50's. Everyone seems to remember him by his recent performances in 2009. He performed well in 2008 and deserves his position in the side. Bowling attack is poor, Harbhajan and Kahn...
