    Performance Issues

I had big problems for about a 5-10 minute period today on 2 occasions, nothing major though. The site took ages to load a thread once and timed out once.

    Jakes pre season cricket log

OK, firstly, welcome to my log. So I've taken a bit of a break from the weights, training, whole working out thing. I'm back now, and am ready to go again. I plan on starting fresh, again with light weights, good form, and be a lot more cricket specific. I have some old cricket magazines that...

    ***Official***Australian Domestic Season Thread 2009/2010

Khawaja is an opener isn't he? I'd rather him open then Warner in FC, Warner should stick to the middle order.

    Sorting stats

Cheers. Just worked it out. I went to the tests section then I typed in Hussey. Because down the bottom where you type the name looks different I thought you couldn't enter a name there and adjust the stats above to what you wanted. I thought you could only search a group of people's stats like...

Smith taking the keeping duties huh? Hauritz > Casson too. What about Bracken? Other than that not bad.

    Sorting stats

How do you sort stats on Cricinfo? Say I wanted to know, Michael Hussey's batting average from 12th March 2007 to today, how would I go about finding this? Or if you can't on Cricinfo (which I doubt), what site do you use? Also, is there a site/feature that you can use to sort batsmens FC stats...

Michael Hussey – Is his time up?

You know I am talking about the series, right? I reckon he will be dropped if he fails at Lords, TBH.

    Ashes Blog: Momentum vs Statistics

There is a thread about the Ashes blog in the Ashes subforum, I'd imagine this has been posted in there already.

    ***Official***Australian Domestic Season Thread 2009/2010

I'm actually really looking forward to this summer, the domestic cricket should be good, plus the new signings and transfers (especially the signing of oversea's internationals - Mendis and the like) is good. I wish Cowan stayed with us and actually had a chance to bat in the middle order...

Ownage. I have to wait until tonight for my Twenty20. That annoys me, but it's alright.

Michael Hussey – Is his time up?

As I said in the article, I think he will average 35-45, but I didn't mention that I think he will score a century, as long as the rumors that Watson will be replacing him for Lords are false.

Michael Hussey – Is his time up?

Michael Hussey started his international test career with a bang, in the Frank Worrell Trophy, 2005/06, against the West Indies, when they travelled to Australia. In 3 matches he compiled 361 runs at an average of 120.33, including 2 centuries. The West Indian’s failed to dismiss him on 3...

    Watson to replace mike hussey

That would be correct. In Hussey's last 13 innings, he has scored 220 @ 18.33 with 1 fifty. He also scored a 45* during this period.

    Australian slips cordon

I touched on that in the opening post of this thread. I didn't start following cricket until around the 2005 Ashes (they are my earliest memories of cricket) but I have read and watched lots of cricket from before then, so I know how truly great this cordon really was.

    Australian slips cordon

These days the Australian slips cordon is terrible, especially compared to previous cordons. You had Taylor, the Waugh brothers, Hayden, Warne etc. Now we have Clarke in first slip, Ponting in second (who is good) and whoever in third when we use it (didn't pay much attention during this test)...

Nice, some close matches. You playing them over 5 days and everything?

    *Official* Bangladesh in West Indies

Congrats Bangladesh for beating the West Indies 5th XI. Good work.

    Battrick

In my first 3 Twenty20's (against real people) I won 2 and lost the last in a close match. Hopefully I can turn it around tomorrow and the next day. If the bowling and batting doesn't improve in the next match, changes will be made. Probably bringing in Coutts (batsmen) and Britz (bowler) and...
