    Funny Commentary Quotes

That's been mentioned 156029384 times so far in this thread. This was the first one I could actually understand though. The rest were just "the bowlers holding the batsmen willy!" and made no sense to me, now I recognize that they were the players names.

    Logo Maker

Did you ever get a reply to this thread (like, privately)? I'm about to have a go at making one for my story. Will be very, very basic and simple, due to my complete lack of skill on Photoshop.

    Players of the fourth quarter

Someone to bring him back IMO.

    Players of the fourth quarter

Does anyone have contact with him (MSN, friend, MySpace, Facebook etc, anything) so we can get him back?

Anyway to watch Sky Sports streaming?

Yeah, the price is a bit over the top. Same with Foxtel/Austar in Australia. Anyway, we get it on free-to-air. It seems a bit odd that the English have to pay to watch it in their own country, whilst us Aussies get to watch it for free, when it's on the other side of the world.

    Worst ever commentary moment?

I got a good laugh from the SL v ENG one with the commentator "Bopara has hit it for four! Oh wait, he's been bowled!". Also, the one with Botham "I think the field is absolutely, completely wrong. They've brought fine leg up and put out a man at short, wide long off."

Thanks for clearing that up. How does Neville match up against Crosthwaite? How is Nevilles batting?

Anyway to watch Sky Sports streaming?

Do you have to have Sky to get it? Good thing is here it's on free-to-air television, is this the same in England?

    ***Official***Australian Domestic Season Thread 2009/2010

I would love NSW to get Crosthwaite, seeing as Haddin isn't going to be coming back to play for us regularly any time soon. By the way, how is Smith's/Neville's (I think they are NSW's keepers) actual keeping skills. Doesn't Smith slog a bit, and bowl some decent tweakers as well?

Should Brett Lee be selected for the Ashes?

With Hauritz (on spinners pitches), McDonald (if he gets selected) and Clarke, Katich and possibly North, you've got enough slow bowlers who get through the overs quickly. I'd go for Spinning pitches: Johnson Siddle Clark Watson Hauritz Clarke Katich Obviously Clarke and Katich won't be used...

Should Brett Lee be selected for the Ashes?

Yes. Bollinger has actually performed on the international scene, whilst Hilfenhaus hasn't. Both are very, very good state bowlers, but Bollinger has outperformed Hilfenhaus in Tests and ODI's.

Should Brett Lee be selected for the Ashes?

    For Cardiff and spinning pitches: 1. Hughes 2. Katich 3. Ponting 4. Hussey 5. Clarke 6. Watson 7. Haddin 8. Johnson 9. Hauritz 10. Siddle 11. Clark For swing/seam bowlers pitches: 1. Hughes 2. Katich 3. Ponting 4. Hussey 5. Clarke 6. Watson 7. Haddin 8. Johnson 9. Lee/McDonald 10. Siddle 11...

Should Brett Lee be selected for the Ashes?

It's more my like for Bollinger and opinion on him. Both are dangerous, as you said, but I'd say Bollinger just has the edge on Hilfenhaus. Comparing their tests performances, I think it's safe to say Bollinger has been better over their limited opportunities. It would be good if Bollinger has...

    Battrick

Do you guys remember your players skills or does it say somewhere if they pop? I don't remember my players skill levels, so I don't know whether they popped or not.

Should Brett Lee be selected for the Ashes?

Oh yeah, that right, that hack Hilfenhaus got in before him. Bollinger > daylight > Hilfenhaus. Ok, seeing as Bollinger is not in the mix, I want an attack of: Johnson Siddle Clark Lee/Hauritz (Depending on their fitness, form and the pitch).
