    I actually don't see any way you can put Flintoff in an ATG ODI XI - the only place he had any success batting was at 4/5 and there is no way you can justify selecting him at that position as it will displace a far superior batsman.

    Yes, I only saw that yesterday and bearing in mind how we dicked them at their place and they were in decline, they're the luckiest team from all of this I'd say. They'll no doubt now fluke 3 wins and go up (which again I wouldn't mind as it sews up one of the relegation spots next season).

    It's a tricky one, they lack a reliable player who you can bank on to get a score every game (where England have Root and Stokes who I think you can bank on doing that) but in every game I'd expect one or two of them to get in and some sort of score - just different players each time.

    Interesting point about Dowrich but the majority of the reason for the average of 40 is his batting at 6 significantly bringing things up. At 7 he averages 32, and the one innings of substance in that time (which brings that average up from the low 20s) came under a distinct lack of pressure...
