    Battle of the Subcontinent

Have to go with Murali. Should win the whole thing IMO.

    Ranking the Batsmen

Bradman scored at a strike rate of about 60-61 - better than the vast majority of batsmen today.

Graeme Smith warns Panesar of racist abuse

If that's not racist I wonder what is.

Some of the furore surrounding these events is laughable. Big bad Asia is taking over our sport. Boohoo.

    # 3 for 1946-65 World Test XI

Walcott for the reasons others have mentioned.

Pick Two Opening Batsmen for the 1946-65 World Test XI

Hutton is an automatic pick, the second opener is harder to choose. I went for Hunte.

Torn between Viv Richards and Lara for this one. I'll go Lara, because I've seen his brilliance in person.

How could there be universal suffrage in the subcontinent under colonial rule?

I've lived in both the subcontinent and Australia. Am I allowed to comment? Considering I don't disagree with much of what C_C has said, I'm guessing I'm not. Also, you're kidding yourself if you think that the last 50 years of Australian history are any sort of good example. In my experience...

Wait a sec. You're qualified to comment on the subcontinent, but people from the subcontinent aren't qualified to comment on Australia? Couldn't possibly be double standards, could it? Typical of your attitude really.

    Mohammed Yousuf/Yousuf Youhana

Viv Richards in 1976 with 1710 runs at an average of 90 with seven 100s. Yousuf would need 396 runs from the next two Tests against the Windies to get the record. Not impossible, but unlikely.

You know what, that argument will be dismissed by most people, but I can see all you've mentioned in some posts on here.

    Battle of the Subcontinent

Have to go for Kapil Dev. Unlucky draw for Kumble.

    Waqar easily.

The readers of Wisden are largely English (and maybe some Australian), so that's hardly a surprise.
