Something I was thinking about - should Sehwag open in the 2nd innings?

    Your Favourtie Bat Manufactuer

I've got the Original. I used to prefer a heavier bat when I bought it and it was a little on the light side for me then, but nowadays I like something really light - helps for playing more with the wrist.

    Your Favourtie Bat Manufactuer

Same bat as me. Loving it, although I might go for something lighter for my next bat. I used to have an SG (can't remember the exact one) a while ago before I gave it to my cousin, and I have a Puma for everyday use - don't like to take the BDM out all the time.

Surprised to see I got so many votes.:-O Thanks to all. Man, this is a tough round. I could easily vote for all three, but dcye doesn't seem to post so much in CC. Very tough between pasag and Fusion - pasag's a great example of someone who I don't necessarily always agree with, but have a lot...

Reckon Shastri was just making the explanation up on the spot.

Tough choice this round, some top posters, but T_C hasn't been around much lately so it has to be Anil.

most boring batsman in history to watch

Still doesn't mean he can't be boring to watch. I find watching Hayden pretty boring, and he scores fairly quickly.

Yeah, he has potential but seems to have a pretty loose technique...can't see him surviving a long time when the ball is moving around, but I could be proven wrong. I'd like NZ to have a real top-class (48+ Test avg) echelon batsman.

    Battle of the Test Matches

Yeah, tough draw for Adelaide and Colombo. SL vs SA was incredibly close and really went down to the wire, while Adelaide was a massive comeback and not something anyone expected. However, West Indies V Australia, Barbados 1999 has to come out on top. The standard of cricket was unbelievable and...

Hahaha can't say I've much of a spinner's grunt myself. Anyway, I agree with that assessment of Harris. He looks like he could be useful on a turning track, but seems to fire it in a bit too much for my liking. He does have a pretty good FC record though, especially for a South African...

Reminds me of Darren Lehmann...probably because of the side-arm style.

Asad Rauf and Daryl Harper according to CricInfo.

...because he has a decent technique and can be trusted to at least see off the new ball. Same reason why Dravid's name was thrown up when people were discussing who should open.

    Battle of the Test Matches

All pretty good Test matches, but India V Pakistan, Eden Gardens 1999 is the only great one on the list IMO. Will never forget Akhtar and Saeed Anwar from that match...and Srinath's performance in a losing cause.
