Is England a minnow one day side?

I don't hate kids, but for the purpose of the poll I will.

    I concur.

International Cricket Team (Plese Read This is about my future)

That's not even what Sanz said. Why not offer some suggestions yourself? It's not really that hard to get in touch with ex-cricketers if you really want to...even highly prominent cricketers like Akram or Younis.

    Cricket DVDs

    No multi-region DVD player?

    Cricket DVDs

Ooh quality. I've only seen Cricket in the '60s and '80s, might pick that up.

Where do England go from here?

I can't really see the English bowlers bar Flintoff doing much on a flat track either. If it comes down to who is better on flat tracks, the series will be close imo.

    Greatest Ever Fast Bowler?

    Leaning towards the latter tbh.

Is KP worthy of No.1 title?

Stats for 2007 (choosing that as a cutoff because that's Ganguly only made his return in ODIs then): Tendulkar - 310 runs @ 44.29, SR of 99.04 Ganguly - 509 runs @ 63.63, SR of 71.89 Dravid - 363 runs @ 51.86, SR of 81.03

It seems like Bangladesh is winning their 'minnow' battle against England

It's a bit much to be judging people on the forum having just joined, isn't it? As others have already said, Anil has held his views for as long as I can remember and even though I largely disagree on this issue, I know he hasn't suddenly found his views because of what's happened in this World...

    What's happening you guys !!

You want self-righteous? Have a look further on in this very post: "I would suspect that if the conversation wasnt about something so close to home for some people then the problem would be given a greater recognition." "It seems that with some members anything said against India or Pakistan...

    What's happening you guys !!

Nah, not you. Didn't really notice anything wrong with your posts tbh. Referring to Goughy and the thread starter really.

    What's happening you guys !!

FFS what a stupid thread. Agreed entirely with Fusion and Pratyush here, and don't really appreciate the self righteous tone of some in here.

    Greg Chappell: I won't resign.

I don't agree with it because it's just reinforcing the same tired old stereotypes that have been used to subjugate people for decades. There are cultural differences which I recognise, but it's irresponsible and foolish to simply paint the issue as "Indians can't handle him" - it's belittling...

    Greg Chappell: I won't resign.

Tbh HB, that's BS. As Kesavan said, it's orientalist nonsense. Sure. there are cultural differences, but comments such as yours above just make me rue that people are still willing to unwittingly reinforce tired, inaccurate and stupid stereotypes.

    Greg Chappell: I won't resign.

Exactly. That's why I liked the article.

    Greg Chappell: I won't resign.

Where did he try to apportion blame though? The article is predominantly based on two points - firstly, that the stereotyping of Indians as being unable to deal with Chappell is nonsense, and secondly that the author believes Chappell was not a good coach. I can't see where you're getting "The...

Has Richard recently accelerated his post count ?

Haha I don't have a problem with it. Just finding it amusing that the thread went from "we love you Richard" to a Dr Phil style "get real".
