So we don't have time to bat for ages, hence the need for a quick fire innings.

Yeah definitely. With good bowling comes batsman error. Not taking anything away from them like.

I really, really, really, really want this to happen but given Fred's batting, I don't see it happening. And Lol at Johnson too. Where was this lip when he was bowling garbage?

Sums it up really. Barring the good delivery that got Bell out the rest of our batsmen have gotten themselves out.

Firstly to wipe out Australia's lead and lessen the chances of defeat, secondly to try and force an unlikely victory, and thirdly because he's Fred and I want him too.

Come on Fred and your big smiley face helmet. We desperately, desperately need a quick 50 or thereabouts.

And there's the bottler, right on cue. Well batted though to be fair, good nut that got him. Right Fred you really do need to bring your batting game now or we could quite easily throw this away.

    Proffesional cricket that is.

For Broad to be called an All-Rounder surely he needs to be able to bowl well?

That's all well and good, but to be fair I don't play cricket.

Mitchell Johnson getting wickets. Peter Siddle's face. Ricky Ponting. Yuvraj Singh. India. There are far worse things tbh.

Batted Ian.I really really want Bell to make more here. Not just for England, but because I love him. I wish he'd just score more runs in tight situations. Woah, didn't realise he had 7 fifties against Australia. That's not too bad really.

    If Test cricket died

I probably wouldn't to be honest. I'd still follow Lancashire keenly, but i've just never had the same passion for ODIs and T20Is that I do for Test matches.

"JONES.........BOWDEN............Kasprowicz the man to go, and HARMISON has done it, despair for the Australians but JOY on every England face in the crowd" Something like that anyway. I'll never forget hearing that from underneath the covers.

I still bite my fingernails watching this.

I'd say it's down to shock at the fact that Stuart Broad can get a game but he can't.

The Prior/Bell partnership is the big one. If they can somehow manage to level Australia's score then any run after that is a bonus. That's obviously a massive ask though, and personally I reckon we'll be bowled out trailing by about 30 or so.

And with that, the game is in Australia's hands.

How come Watson is yet to bowl btw? Is there some kind of injury because from what i've seen of him he's more than decent.
  20. Pizzorno

    *Official Third Test at Edgbaston

I will. It'll be the first hundred he's made under any kind of pressure whatsoever. Plus it's against the crims. Can't see it happening though.
