What a difference Ponting is making at 3, this is what White was missing; that extra gear to score over a run a ball.

FMD that is poor by Watson, I think he needs to go back to domestic cricket and work on the straight ball. He ain't going to get more than a start with a weakness like that.

If Ponting or Watson get gong they could provide some entertainment.

Top death bowling by Lee, can't believe the English managed to collapse even with their super long bating.

Not the greatest shot by Broad but a good ball by Lee, he just needs to keep a copy of this death bowling display and reproduce it in the future.

Must say Hauritz has improved a lot since last year. Good thing the English left out Swann.

Hopefully we rearrange out order, White should be at 5 in the Symonds role.

Dam missed out on seeing Denly and then his downfall. Pretty good start by the English.

It simple really unless it is going to be overcast throughout the whole test the pitch will always dry out which means it will take spin later in the piece. Now I was one that wanted 4 seamers in the 1st test but after seeing what happened as the match wore on it was clear the pitch was taking turn.

Don't know what makes you say that given Magoffin FC economy is 0.01 runs better than McDonald. Remembering that he plays alot of his matches on the WACA which has been a road of late.

For me if we planned on using McDonald as a bowler then Magoffin would have been just as economical but has more wicket taking potential.

Don't mind Magoffin call up but geez our bowlers are falling like flies. You can also add Johnson who was seen hold his hamstring.

Lol yea they are funny to read. Would LMAO if he made his debut and got stranded on 99 again.

For mind I would have gone with Magoffin as he is a tall hit the deck bowler. Also handy with the bat, I guess the selectors either feel hes too old or his pace is up to Test standard although they did pick McDonald as the 4th pacemen so... But I'll take Geeves over McDonald, he can bat which...

Johnson still has work to do on his swing but he was getting the odd ball to go into the batter. Hilfy was in the high 130s occasional over the 140km/h. And yea he got it going away from the right handers pitched it on about middle and swung it away. Was too good for McKenize on several occasions.
