**Official** West Indies in England 2012

The ball is in the court of the WICB and its selectors is the easy answer. He's available.

**Official** West Indies in England 2012

Not really. He has experience in England before that's all. There are other bowlers more deserving of a shot ahead of Gabriel and Best.

Tino Best drafted into the squad. Clearly an injury to one of the bowlers.

**Official** West Indies in England 2012

From what I've pieced together he pretty much was happy with the Stanford money and didn't really feel like playing cricket again. Plus he lives on the western side of the island and had his rehab sessions in the east. The current head coach was his coach in high school and lives near him and...

TBF to Gayle he does average 36 in England which compared to Powell is miles better. Affected badly by that last tour in 2009 of course but before that he was able to manage quite well against English bowlers. In 2004 he faced Hoggard, Giles, Harmison, Jones, Anderson and Flintoff. And in 2007...

I've not watched all his games for England, considering how spaced out they are, but don't remember him doing badly and he had a few good games in those 22.

I know what you meant just there were mitigating factors to that tour. Should never have happened. Memory might be a bit hazy but it was either that year or 2010 where no one could get him out. Also, doesn't matter what the players thoughts are as long as they do it on the field.

Looking at their records there's not much between them. Plus I'm using Benn as he was going into that tour.

“I am trying not to focus on it too much, I am just happy to be here at Leicestershire. I do not have to worry about any coaches telling my fellow players that he wants me to fail and that he does not want me in the team." - Sarwan. Guess he won't be called up soon.

Yep wanted to be sure he'd have a decent role within the setup so wouldn't have wanted to be standby. Told the FA that months ago that he's semi-retired because he was tired of straddling the bench and getting dropped when he'd done well for the Gerrard-Lampard horror show. (The part after and...

    *Official* English Football Season 2011-12

Capello would be mad to take over a side like Liverpool. With his age and his accomplishments, trying to transform someone like Liverpool's too much effort. Could see him at a PSG or Spurs or Napoli or Inter.

You were right though about him making too many mistakes before but that's acceptable considering youth and all. Cut them out for the most part this season. Made the odd bad decision but meh.

Hate stuff like this. He's had one bad season in his entire career as a first teamer including his loan deals and people are shocked when he pulls up his socks the next season and does well. FFS. Vidic was missed though but a fully fit Fletcher was a bigger miss considering Carrick and Scholes...

My only exam's left is later today, in about 15 hours. So shall have time to see us 2 or 3 down quickly and then eke out some 200+ scores later in the week.

Would think this is England best lineup for the first game: Hart Richards Lescott Ferdinand Cole Carrick CM Barry Walcott Welbeck Young Would pick someone else over Welbeck but think the linkup play possible between him and the other two upfront might negate the need for a big man up top...

He was asked to do that role when we had a fit Hargreaves, Fletcher and Carrick. That's more than enough defensive strength in midfield. We even had to field Hargreaves out on the right at times. He was playing deeper to round out his game since we don't often play with an outright AM. Closest...

Just basing it on Spurs' failures in the second half of the last two seasons. He's had them in good positions and then they've faltered a bit when it came to the crunch. Not denying the good work he's done but his flaws won't progress them. Of course, I'm saying this from seeing what Spurs fans...
