**Official** New Zealand in West Indies

Nah he's just got decent pace. Won't be getting it up to 90mph regularly.

    The Final

Wouldn't be too surprised to see Pirlo and Buffon in 2014. Euro 2016 a bit too far I would think though.

    The Final

Bit generous there. He's not been terrible but he's not looked back to his best. Looked good all things considered though.

    No Beckham

Think Ferguson ruled out Evans being available. Think Giggs and the likes of Rafael and Fabio were the only players who'd be let go. IIRC over age players can be refused to be let go but the U23s have to go.

Would guess Edwards and Charles come in for the next ODI.

Oh well fair enough then. He's only come on in the last year or so.

Narine's bowling average is 11.88 in FC. Not sure where someone got the 46 or whatever but that's miles wrong. He destroyed batsmen in the last FC competition here.

He did well against South Africa away the second to last series before his ban.

Players don't really put together consecutive high scoring seasons often. Usually only a great and mediocre season needed or a mediocre season with flashy play gets you in.

Would say it's simply down to too many spinners to choose from. It all depends on who likes you. Brown for instance got selected for the A team a couple years ago, did well and hasn't been picked for one again since. It's not a forgiving atmosphere for spinners. Wouldn't be surprised to see Benn...

    *Official* English Football Season 2011-12

Kagawa's not a CM though. He'll likely play from the wings and most as an AM. Chelsea can easily play, Torres Hazard Mata Hulk Not bad.

And Gayle's ODI record is pretty good. I'd guess better than most of the England batsmen too but I'm too lazy to check that.

Agreed. Sammy should have taken charge and batted ahead of him.

Gayle's still persona non grata for a lot of the top brass at the WICB so him coming back isn't guaranteed. He's scheduled to meet with the WICB June 3 and the next Test starts June 7. Depends where the meeting is if he's going to be there for the next Test.

Not a fan of yes-men and people who'll chastise players for being unionised.
  17. roseboy64

**Official** West Indies in England 2012

No it wasn't. The team underperformed in the last WC and the seniors got dropped and Sammy was absolved because he didn't pick himself.

Dwayne Bravo's far more likeable than Sammy'll ever be.

Genuinely shocked Sammy's managed to bat this long. Well done him.
