    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

I'd imagine Kuldeep will play only if Ashwin is ruled out. Gill Rohit Pujara Rahane Mayank Pant Sundar Kuldeep/Ashwin Shardul Saini Siraj

Reckon Sundar should play tbh in place for Jadeja. His first class stats are not bad for an all-rounder and I do think he might develop into a good finger spin option for India in the long term. Plus he is also from Chennai which should mightily please Burgey sweetheart.

New Zealand- #1 ranked test side for the first time ever

If the kiwis beat India in India in a test series say next year, that would arguably be the greatest achievement in the history of NZ cricket. India have lost just twice at home since Ganguly got the Indian captaincy in March 2000 - one of which was to one of cricket’s greatest ever teams and...

    3rd Test at the SCG, Sydney, 7 Jan - 11 Jan 2021

Think you have both teams pretty much spot on with the exception of Natarajan. Be a bit surprised if India played him ahead of Saini.

    3rd Test at the SCG, Sydney, 7 Jan - 11 Jan 2021

Absolutely and it is unfortunate that sweetie Burgey who took such a principled stand on Monkeygate then proceeded to denigrate an entire city (Chennai) on these forums. Hypocrisy at its finest :)

    3rd Test at the SCG, Sydney, 7 Jan - 11 Jan 2021

Gotta hold it in Sydney. The Covid situation is under control thanks to the government of glorious Gladys. Plus we have beautiful Burgey of Balgowlah or Bella Vista (take your pick)

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Replace burns and Wade with Warner and Puckovski. Pretty straightforward - not much else the mighty Aussies need to do.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Still think Rohit opening over Agarwal is a win for India. The Australians will be wary of him - they know he has considerable talent even if he hasn't utilised it fully in the test opportunities he has had. Plus his game is suited to Australian conditions. Also think the Nohit criticism is a...

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Smith's decline will start at some point. Not saying it has but a guy like him with his hand eye coordination if that starts to wane even a bit his prodigious run scoring will tail off quite considerably. Players who are heavily hand eye reliant usually start tailing off around 32-33 and Smith...

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Rohit is surely coming in for the next test for Agarwal. They didn't fly him all the way to Sydney and get him to do the 14 day quarantine if he wasn't in serious consideration for the third test. I think they might give Vihari another chance though and only if he fails look at KL Rahul for the...

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Spot on. Kohli is a great batsman but simply too emotional to be an effective captain. However he has an enormous ego so unlikely he will step aside for Rahane.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Let's see if India are professional enough to be strong in the remaining two tests or self congratulate themselves after one overseas win and take it easy. while India have undoubtedly improved away from home in the last twenty years they have yet to record 2 consecutive wins in Sena countries...

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

One of India's greatest wins surely. To beat the best cricketing nation in their back yard without Kohli, Rohit, Ishant and Shami not to mention also Pandya and Bhuvi, that ranks right up there.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

India only 80 ahead and they have a weak tail. subcontinental sides are also not renowned for ruthlessness when in ascendancy. Oz not out of this.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Not surprising. Most batsmen from Perth struggle against decent spin bowling.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Wade's a better 6 than opener sure but the truth is he is still only a soso player. australia are simply just treading water with him until someone better comes along.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Siraj looks pretty decent. You'd have to think he is first choice replacement if any of the front three of bumrah Shami and Ishant are injured for the England tour. Time to move past Yadav for away games I think.

    2nd Test at the MCG, Melbourne, 26 Dec - 30 Dec 2020

Pant averages north of 38 with the bat and has test hundreds in Australia and England - something no other Indian keeper has achieved. Hell - other than Gilchrist I doubt too many if any Aussie keepers have managed that. Add to the fact that Australia is probably the easiest country in the...
