You can't call your side the best in the world and then genuinely believe they have no chance at chasing down 270 or batting out a day to draw a match. It's one or the other.

If our batsmen had half the temperament and composure of Cook, we may have been competitive in this series.

Well done M.Beer, deserved his wicket and his confidence in the face of two 'setbacks' has been impressive.

Haha yeah, was just about to post. Bit of a bizarre piece. The drop was lucky, but how is overturning wrong decisions luck? Cook MOTS now, obviously. This must the most dominant Ashes tour in this country by a batsman in modern times.

For anyone who missed this last night: YouTube - Dale Steyn bowls Harbhajan Singh.... Sort of. I think if we can limit England to a 70 run lead we still have a chance. Prior and Swann can do real damage though and things can get a bit ugly with us not batting till well past tea.

Can't think of anything more exciting in recent times. 1 vs 2, series levelled in the final match and scores even on day three with all results very much possible.

We will not see another Tendulkar in our lifetime. Is it strange that whenever he scores a century I think of JustTool?

It'll be good for Beer. Learnt the hard way that nbs from spinners are unacceptable and hopefully he won't do it again.

You'd think we were 8/400 based on some of the comments in this thread.

Reckon England would have won this even if we showed up to this series, too bad we'll never know.

    Thanks Rahul

India need to manage their transition better than we did. In an ideal world you'd have Dravid retiring soon, Laxman in 2012 and Sachin in 2013 (or later).

Honestly don't believe it's a mental thing with Watson, just a bit of bad luck. That shot to Benn first thing in the morning was very silly though.
