*Official* Australia vs South Africa -2022/3

That’s the worst 5 minutes of batting I have ever seen from an established test batsmen. Absolutely unforgivable to get the basics so wrong and then throwing away your wicket. Unforgivable.

he’s the best captain in the team even when everyone is available.

    Besides Joey Leilua tbh.

Glenn Turner - How highly do you rate him?

Saddened that he has incurable cancer. Doesn't change the fact he was a very, very ordinary second rower though.

    You'd make a good skip.

Test series whose result hurt you most

2010-11 Ashes by the length of the Flemington straight. 2005 was the first loss I'd witnessed. But it was a fantastic series. 2009 was frustrating as hell. 2010-11 though is the first time I'd seen Australia beaten at home by England. It was horrific. It was really weird you had a feeling the...

They'll comprehensively beat the Dragons tomorrow and they'll be off and limping.

Centre is a lot less about tackling and a lot more making the right decisions to be in the right position to tackle. Having the pace and agility to perform that is absolutely key as well. It worked ok last week but was no masterstroke IMO. Niukore got made look silly by Justin Olam a few times...

That time Shiv Chanderpaul hit a 4 and a 6 in the last 2 balls of an ODI

I don't even know if you could have picked out 2 better players who shared his 'time' tbh.

Who is the greatest ODI bowler of all time?

Bit puzzled by so many ATG lineups just straight up having Kapil as a lock at all rounder. If that position in the team is to bat 7 and be the 4th seamer I'm picking Klusener every day of the week.

    Your favourite nobodies

Could have a huge list of players here. But Aussies who never made the top level that I loved watching play domestic cricket were Mark Higgs, Bradley Young, Don Nash, Grahame Rummans, Ryan Campbell, Cullen Bailey, Laurie harper and Graeme Vimpani.

Lol at Corey Norman to fullback being any sort of solution at Illawarra.

He should have gone ages ago but very few coaches in the game could muster much out of that squad. Besides Lomax and McInness (and maybe 1 or 2 humpty bench forwards) every single other fill time first grade player is past their best IMO. That includes current rep players like Frizell and...

Is Jimmy Adams the only player to ever complete this rare treble of achievements?

Good shout. Of everyone I've seen he's probably the most versatile. Succeeded as an opening bat and a bowling all rounder at the top level and could keep.

Is Jimmy Adams the only player to ever complete this rare treble of achievements?

Agreed. From memory he looked a handy medium pacer. I remember him getting a ten over spell in his first ODI back after the bourbon and beef steak incident.

How often does a part timer get to bowl to a tail ender in a test career? Especially if they're from an ATG team.

Is Jimmy Adams the only player to ever complete this rare treble of achievements?

That's like saying The Beatles are possibly in the top 5 greatest bands of all time.
