Didn't Vaas defend 2 or 3 runs or something ridiculous like that in the last over against blokes like Symonds?
He did, but it was never Vaas' strong point. He was a bowler who knocked out the top order in ODIs and kept the middle to last overs quiet. Jayasuriya, later Malinga and Kulasekara became our proper death bowlers.
