    Jamaican athletes and Cricket

These guys are discipline and fit, and there's no question of their ability to learn the game as being the best ever runners in track requires alot of training and learning minor adjustment and then doing them to perfection!. People always ask where are the fast bowlers ? they are running...

Blake wants to change track to IPL! Blake wants to change track to IPL! - Yahoo! Cricket India We all know the bolt's story, but you get the impression these guys just happen to love sports (they probably played all in high school) and i'm sure if WI cricket was doing better more young men...

Well SA has ten to 15 overs to take 3 wickets and set a crazy attacking field... in fact even now they should set a seriously attacking field.

I don't see them bowling SA out for 150..but anything is possible.. Realistically they will need to set a big deficit to beat SA, and there's not enough time in the game for that to happen, then bowl SA out and then chase the target SA sets.

These runs are enough.. I don't see England making 600 plus - which would take two days.. Leaving a day and a half for SA to score and England to reply.. Won't happen.

England should have thought out a proper plan at lunch instead of wasting so much time setting a new field every three balls.. :-O

Chris Gayle Vs Michael Bevan - Who would you prefer ?

Michael Bevan | Cricket Players and Officials | ESPN Cricinfo Bevan Chris Gayle | West Indies Cricket | Cricket Players and Officials | ESPN Cricinfo Gayle ... They played the same number of games, Gayle has way more runs, and higher strike rate but with a much lower average.

Declining batting orders making rookies look good?

Good point Windie... Only WI has produced new batsmen who scored runs in the last 12 months or so. Edwards has like 3 centuries in 5 matches, while bravo has scored over 1000 runs in his debut year -both averaging above 50. Good signs for windies, if they can get Gayle, Sarwan, and Shiv back...
