    Allrounders Vs Batsmen and Bowlers

He is as handy with the bat as Collingwood is handy with the ball really. At internatinoal level he hasn't managed to show it as much due to coming out in the slog overs and he isn't a slogger. He does average 35 in first class cricket...funnily enough only really 1.5 runs behind Cameron...

Fleming steps down as OD captain

I think the results are tehre as an opener for him. basically flem is 33 odd years old, and as a one day player he never really was top notch. Had a purple patch here and there, but yeh wasn't anything special. If NZ want to plan for next world cup, they need to flag him now and get another...

    Allrounders Vs Batsmen and Bowlers

The main problem is that most of the team i came up with are BATTING all rounders. Pollock Flintoff and Hogg are the only real bowling all rounders on that side. If there was one more bowling all rounder, i think it'd be far more even.

Fleming steps down as OD captain

He should be dropped without the captaincy. Isn't good enough imo as a batsman alone. Should remain in the test side however.

    Help needed regarding me batting

ok remember back to when you were batting normally. Before the ball was released, or as the ball was being released, what were your movements? Now think to now, what are your movements. You will find something has changed. Get a bowling machine and bowl at the length your struggling, with it...

    Help needed regarding me batting

my guess is that you've lost, or you are miss timing your trigger movement, which is usually one of the main causes for no or slow foot movement. Is it mainly to the quicker bowlers, or the slower opening bowlers too? (ie. the non express)

    Future captain of Team India

Typical of an indian supporter there. We didn't qualify, or we didn't do what we should have done, let's blame the coach and captain. Has it ever occured to you that cricket is played by ELEVEN players on the field, and there's only so much a captain and coach could do? Even if Steve Waugh or...

Selectors should pick Atapattu Over Tharanga

bring attapattu in against Ireland, if he can get going, it should be enough practice..ie. if he's in the middle and makes 30+ if he gets out cheaply then he wouldn't have had enough practice and back to tharanga.

Interesting to note the difference between Peitersen & Styris century celebrations

It's nto the celebration that got me, it's the slowing down of scoring prior to the 100.

Aussie- Should they go in with a 4th quickie or Hodge?

Hoggs a very handy batsman though, sure he's not as explosive as White, (40 off 15 in the first WC match says otherwise thoughou ), but he's pretty good if you want someone to nudge singles and two's etc.

Aussie- Should they go in with a 4th quickie or Hodge?

bah its only england. Hogg at 7 should be fine, play the extra quick :p

Aussie- Should they go in with a 4th quickie or Hodge?

Hoggs generally not THAT expensive. I mean he can sometimes go for 5 an over which is by no means economical but it's not in the dangerously expensive category. Tends to pick up 2 or 3 big wickets as well (not just the tail but top order top notch batsman)

Shane Watson, is he unlucky or what?

I think it'd be better getting Hussey or Clarke to bowl 10 overs than White tbh
  17. deeps

    Is the Hussey magic over?

he's had very little time at the crease except for the last match (against WI)

    Pakistan players speak about Woolmer

    Why was Afridi missing?

A great day for the Irish!

oh man unbelievable! kudos to the irish though they bowled and fielded extremely well and the pakistani's lacked application in their batting. They are missing alot of their players, but Afridi aside, the rest are bowlers... And expecting akhtar and asif to defend 132 is asking a fair bit...

Group A - Australia, South Africa, Scotland, Holland

pfft, Hogg is primarily a bowler, White is a useless bowler. If White is their next spinner they're in big trouble. IMO white will never make it as an international player unless he REALLY improves
