Such as "so good at words" presumably.

I meant 1/2 over spells. He had two threatening overs at the end, was hooping the odd ball and was taken off. I only caught up with play a bit after tea and Stokes only bowled 3 then anyway. Broad was allowed to bowl through and eventually it told. Same as Stokes in the first innings really...

Has to open up with Stokes and Broad. I'm still utterly baffled by Cook only using Stokes for 1/2 overs in the last session. The seamers have dried up the runs and as soon as there is a bit of movement they have Bangladesh on toast.

Hmm tricky decision, I will have to fire up TMS to catch the conclusion. It is just a case of do I sleep first or just stay up into the early hours.

No idea why Stokes was taken off after one over for Batty. Absolutely the wrong decision.

    **Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

Hmm guess Cook doesn't want to put the spinner on against Sabbir.

Rashid getting away with one dot ball thanks to the ball barely bouncing. Releasing the pressure as usual.

    **Official** England in Bangladesh 2016

Hmm looks as though Stokes could knock someone over any ball, but he can't bowl all the overs. Still just keeping the runs tight might be just as crucial.

Will be interesting to see who bowls the first dozen or so overs for England. You'd surely want to give Stokes a little go with it. But you could say the same with most of the bowlers.

All bar one wicket taken by England has come at the end of the session.

TMS saying this is the first time in the match that seamers have been bowling from both ends.

Don't have to when he's bowling full tosses and long hops. Just have to stay in and wait for the pie every few balls.

***Official*** New Zealand in India 2016

Wouldn't be a NZ touring side in Asia without a hack bits and pieces darter.

Why do England struggle to produce undisputedly great players?

To get back to the original question, I'd say it is partly a cultural thing. In other countries players have to fight hard every step of the way just to scrape a living out of the game, the alternative to *not* making it at cricket can be pretty desperate. So there's not that same drive. This is...

West Indies vs Pakistan in UAE 2016

Man I'd love this to happen when there's a decent batting lineup who could chase this. With the knee jerk stupidity in cricket led by the Aussies there'd be a collective movement towards deciding that you should never ever ever rever ever not enforce the follow on or declare at less than 600...

West Indies vs Pakistan in UAE 2016

I can't wait for the modern cricket game theory to evolve with regards to declarations and following-on. I'm not sure any of the current captains have the brains to sit down and think about something which is much more intangible and subjective. It is easy in this age to use data for field...

Three caught & bowled, must be fairly unusual.

Yes got an ankle injury bowling his heart out for Durham to help keep them up, only for the ECB vermin to render it all meaningless.
