    Donald Bradman's average

Fed/Nadal/Djoker trio is so much more remarkable the more I think. In cricketing terms it's like after 150 years of test cricket with most great batsman averaging 45-55 suddenly come 3 blokes in a similar time period and end up averaging 70-80 over a 15-20 yr career I think there is more chance...

*Official* South African tour of England and Ireland 2022

Yes for some odd reason teams have taken this theory of 5 bowlers to the extreme by playing a #7 whose no better then a #9 and they end up paying a price for it re:Pakistan vs Aus and SL and Saffers are following suite.

Cricketers that never added much to there team

My best memory of Faisal Iqbal is just from couple of years back he apparently was on a trip to Disneyland USA and he some how convinced them that he was a big deal in the cricketing world. They acknowledged his trip on their Twitter handle it went somewhat like this "We welcome international...

Will Virat Kohli ever score a century again?

Exactly I was always found his dedication for peak fitness odd. The great batsmen of the past were scoring runs till their late 30's as long as they had a good sound technique had he been a pacer I could have understood this desire of reaching fitness nirvana so he can extend peak performance...

Cricketers that never added much to there team

The worst part about him is not even his onfield performances if you see any of his interviews the guy is deluded as hell and literally believes he was the second coming of Miandad and internal politics robbed Pakistan of his services.

Cricketers that never added much to there team

Afridi in first half of his career was a gamble that Pakistan could afford to carry Givin the batting and especially bowling strength and it came off at some vital times too Madras Test, Tri series finals in Australia 97. In second half he was worth his place in the side for bowling alone and...

    Donald Bradman's average

Imagine if one of nadal/Federer/djokovich didn't exist we would have two guys at 30 slams or some thing with next best @ 14. And if only one of them existed then we are going to Bradman and beyond territory.

Cricketers that never added much to there team

An underrated act in the 92 World Cup maybe Saeed Anwar would have done a better job but he did his task efficiently also going through some cricinfo scorecards seemed to bat lengthy periods in match saving batting efforts in the late 80s and early 90s there is a reason Imran kept him in the side

    Mathew Hayden vs Garry Kirsten

Kirsten was a dead set gun a more consistent Marc Taylor. Kirsten and Anwar are my openers for a 90's world Xi side.

Glenn Turner - How highly do you rate him?

Yes checked his stats Andy Robert's is also a sure fire starter but I will still keep Garner averages 20 in 20 games with a world cup final fifer. We can keep out a Spinner as there not one worth taking. This is the bowling attack. Lillie Roberts Garner Mike Hendricks Richards and Clive doing...

Glenn Turner - How highly do you rate him?

OK then Majid Khan averages 38 in 23 games knowing him it must have come in swift time. For keeper I will go Derek Murray part of 2 world cup winning XI. Spinner is the biggest question mark as spin bowlers did not adapt well to the shorter format initially.

Glenn Turner - How highly do you rate him?

Speaking of 70' I wonder how would a 70's world odi Xi look. Amiss Majid/Turner Viv Zaheer One of the Chappelle's? Clive Lloyd Keeper? Lillie Garner? Old/Hendricks? Spinner?

    Donald Bradman's average

Speaking of Bradman I wonder what stopped him from playing another series to hit the 100 average mark. From all written and spoken accounts the bloke had an ego and believed in his own hype and was stats driven and its not like he would have been dropped had he decided to play one more series.

    Donald Bradman's average

Jahangir Khan is the closest I can think off Went 6 years and 555 matches unbeaten Not sure what was more competitive and professional cricket in 30's or Squash in 80's

Glenn Turner - How highly do you rate him?

Looking at stats closely you may be quite right as most his big runs are vs East Africa, pre test status SL and India who looked disinterested in odis in 70's Amiss has a balanced record but just played 18 games

The Most Entertaining Pace Bowler to Watch

It's disappointing how both Rahane and Asad Shafiq fell off both were solid mid 40' batsman who looked like will get close to 50 as they entered their peak years but they fell off the cliff to end up with a middling near 40 average. Chandimal also seemed on the same path but thankfully looks to...
