*Unofficial* New Zealand Black Caps Thread

I see we are sending a team to Pakistan for a 5-match T20 series in April. What are we looking at here with some players over at IPL? Allen Bowes Young Chapman Neesham Clarkson M. Bracewell Milne Sodhi Sears Southee Probably some of Henry, Latham, Smith (hopefully) as well in the mix.

Your TV's must be insane, I watched it on the highest quality possible on my TV (dunno if its 4K or not being Sky Sport NZ) and could not see anything on Hotspot.

Nothing on Hotspot, and the smallest of murmurs on Snicko. Questionable.

It's possible to have fingers under it as well as it touching the grass. Don't hate the decision on review, but definitely seems enough doubt for mine to give the benefit of the doubt to the batter.

I said apart from that.... Haha

"Satisfied fingers are under the ball" - what about the other frames that clearly show the ball on the ground? Ridiculous.

Apart from the time zone debacle, I actually can't think of a reason why NZ couldn't host a T20 World Cup on it's own.

Anyone who's watched cricket at both Hagley Oval and Basin Reserve will surely come to the conclusion that Hagley is far nicer and consequently should be the home of cricket. :naughty:

Off to the game at Hagley tonight which should be fun, stinking hot day here today. Will try sit in the FABZ. (Finn Allen Bosh Zone)

I don't hate Sumo as much as some of the people in here, in fact I've been really enjoying some of his quips this summer. Ripping out the older bloke in Napier for telling the Bangladesh fan to chill out with the flag was gold probably the highlight. I also wish the commentators would stop the...

    ***Official***Semi-Final #1- India vs New Zealand - November 15th - Wankhede, Mumbai (D/N)

I mean, no NZer has ever scored a 100 in a semi-final or final either. Chris Harris in 96 QF did and obvs Guptill in 2015 QF.

I know it's rough on Chapman but I also agree that Neesham might be a better option for this game, loves these crunch games and plus does give us an extra pace option even though he's liable to get whacked a bit.

    ***Official***Match #35 - New Zealand vs Pakistan - November 4th - Bengaluru

I mostly agree with you, but also in the Aus vs Pakistan game, Pak were 175-2 after 25 overs ish chasing 367 and lost quite comfortably by 60 runs.

Yeah don't quite understand how they can be 21 runs ahead but a 13% chance of winning haha
