    **Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

It's an extended morning session in humid conditions. Might as well add some runs while reducing their bowling workload for the session/day. Getting past 450 would be ideal but they might have to call it soon.

    **Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

Sure - his one good innings (99 vs SA) in an extended period of underperformance didn't warrant him keeping his spot. And once the team started losing important matches they made the call, with the justification of needing a better player of spin.

    **Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

Yeah I think that's the fundamental problem with Carey & why he's less safe than some of the others struggling to make runs. Mind you, I'm not convinced Inglis would be any better in that regard. **Official** 2nd Test @Adelaide, 6th-10th December

I went back to the replay that showed it from behind and I think it bounces off the ground and back into Carey's glove before he fumbles it again.

    **Official** 2nd Test @Adelaide, 6th-10th December

I rewound the drop and you can't see the ball touch the ground from the replays they provided, but Smith was looking closely and instantly signalled it wasn't caught. Would have been interesting if he claimed it.

    That makes sense, thanks.

    **Official** 1st Test @ Perth, 22nd-26th November

I don't know a lot about playing or coaching cricket at the top level, so wondering if someone here might be able to offer some insight into something I've been curious about. Carey mentioned figuring out a technical change to his batting during the break he had after NZ that helped him to feel...
