    Difficult decision is difficult. Both boss batsmen no doubt. Sanath's savage batting and canny clever spinners, 8 4fers and 4 5fers. Ponting's skippership and great ODI leadership esp. WC's (dealwithithaters.pdf) and consistent attacking batting and amazing fielding.

    The only ? mark would be his performances in Ind, SA and Eng, but even in those countries he doesn't struggle THAT much. One of the best kallisball players no doubt.

    There was nothing wrong with that pitch. It favoured fast bowlers yes, but so did many others in the 90's eg. Edgbaston 95,Kingsmead 96, Bridgetown 97 amongst others. The WI bowlers just bowled and utilised conditions better than aus bowlers.WI bowlers were too good for Aùs batsmen on that...
