How much more valuable is a top bowler over a top bat?

Just realised most people have said the same thing in one way or other. :p

How much more valuable is a top bowler over a top bat?

I'd go with a 70:30 split in favor of bowlers. Suppose you have to pick 4 players in your team who are going to be outstanding at their craft. A team with competent(but not great or excellent) batters and 4 top-tier bowlers will consistently outperform teams with 4 exceptional batsmen but no...

    A Border Vs Kapil Dev

Kapil is not even in the same league as Border. Border the better bowler, better batsman and better captain (also taller than Kapil).

I think only Scott Steiner has Bradmanesque peaks (and freaks).

    India Doom and Gloom Thread

There was some dew. Ball didn't grip that much and there was no scoreboard pressure. Kuldeep is bloody good and decent for someone who comes at number 9. We need more ARs in future. Bowlingwise, Axar/Washi and Kuldeep are ideal at 8 and 9 with two pacers at 10 and 11.

    ***Official***Semi-Final #1- India vs New Zealand - November 15th - Wankhede, Mumbai (D/N)

Rohit's runs at the top provide a lot of cushion to us. If he got out early today, things would've been a lot different.

That was a weird game. An absolute road with short boundaries and NZ went with 3 spinners. They were all getting hammered, Pak had a higher chance of winning coz of NZ's bowling combination.
