    A.F.L. Thread II

Is it a bit short sighted for the clubs to be so against the sub rule? It was brought in because losing a rotation made the game uneven according to the coaches, now that the problem has been fixed perhaps everyone is overlooking the benefits.

The Bombers have played well against quality opposition, if they can keep it up they are a contender.

Ok, so seriously, how was this WC overall?

Went for a bit too long, but overall: We won! So it was great.

Final - New Zealand v Australia (29th March)

I guess the influence of T20 has contributed to this. Tactics are to set yourself up for a blast at the end. It's much higher risk so if you pull it off you win easily when your opponent fails vs the old method of consistent 6-8 an over with lower risks.

Nice over. A solid start for Aus will be key here. Hope we can survive the new ball.

Final - New Zealand v Australia (29th March)

A steady first 15 overs will be key. Can't see Warner batting any differently though.

He's reached the almost inevitable threshold of former Aus player, going from a good commentator to a cheerleader.

Final - New Zealand v Australia (29th March)

I hope we can win. NZ have been playing consistently well so the game will be the flip of a coin, barring an individual having a career best game. Home ground advantage might just be the 5% edge we need to get over the line.
