Nah and i won't try. It doesn't sound fair on the Melbs curator, I'm sure he had nothing to do with the Perth pitch! Merry Xmas Howard.

To be fair to Bracken, we've won all the matches he's played in bar Perth. Interesting point you make about the drop-in pitch, about its history and that pointing toward Mcgill, yet the curator says the exact opposite, that selecting him would be "mad". I can't work it out.

    *Official* Warne vs Murali Discussion

It was a smear on their careers without direct provocation. It was a pretty low act . Point is the guy is no angel either.

I agree, I don't think we've seen the best of him yet. 2nd innings at Brisbane 4/48 comes to mind including Lara. He bowled pretty well in Perth, had Smith wickets twice and it was a pretty flat wicket. Something England had some trouble with :) He bowled pretty well i think, at least he bowled...

    *Official* Warne vs Murali Discussion

If everybody chucks why'd he pick Aus bowlers, esp Mcgrath who'd never said anything about him? Out of spite, revenge - not exactly posterboy behaviour. Where'd he get those figures from anyway and have they been verified?

Its going nothing to do with Mcgill. What i want to know is how you know Bracken won't be helped "that much"? Do you know more than the groundsman? If so can i come to u b4 every match for betting tips?

Thats gotta be a first. A grassy wicket not helping a specialist swing bowler

    *Official* Warne vs Murali Discussion

Remember when Murali took potshots at all our bowlers implying they all chuck? No doubt Warne wins personality wise over Murali

Threat to cricket or is it 'doing the right thing' ?

Seeing that cricket is part of the national culture and character it should be available to everyone. Good on the Ind Gov and BCCI for doing the right thing by the pple

Murali about as successful against India as Warne. More strings out of the Murali bow :)

Obviously Ponting thinks very little of Symonds bowling cos he bowled him for 3 overs, and then bought of all pple Hodge on. Quite strange, after being a vocal supporter in the past. As for any effect on the match though.. didley squat. Question to the selectors - Why didn't they pick Mcgill...

It wasn't Pontings fault we took only 3 wickets in a whole day. Warne bowled pretty well and could have had a few more. Mcgrath Lee and Bracken need to have a look at themselves. But well done to SA esp Rudolph and Kemp

I suppose Symonds ability needs to be questioned now. He doesn't seem to be able to play anything square of the wicket which is whats needed at Perth. Guiding the ball down to third man all the time won't cut it.. he's got to start playing the cut shot.

Speed is going in the right direction, just think cricket could end up as exciting as tennis!

Blah. Go and visit most boards, they are full of whinging about the umpires and the ICC being racist. Talking about alot of cricket nerds really, not 1 1/2 billion pple.

They are forever going on about how if it was one of their batsmen they wouldn't have been given benefit of the doubt. Its like an obsession
