    For all the criticism of Duckett not going on for once I'd say he is blameless, he got probably the best ball of the match and after not opening yesterday it's a bonus he hasn't done serious damage to his thumb. Brook hopefully doesn't get carried away and gives it away. This pitch screams 500...

    I'd say the only realistic chance we have is to bat till tea tomorrow and bowl them out on day 5 to win by an innings. Can't see it.

    Summed up perfectly. Probably the other 2 best players I have seen for us are Gower and KP and he is a combination of their best bits in one and has the Cook/Gooch mentality of feasting once in added to it. Phenomenal player.

    The Crawley dismissal apart this has been good so far today. Needs to continue though. Spinner taken some tap,maybe ours bowled OK on day 1.

    Well if we don't bat all day tomorrow we want locking up. Got to be the worst pitch of the lot that we have played on in Pakistan in the last couple of years. Zero in it for the bowlers on either side and looks like it will stay flat for another couple of days at least.
