*Official* New Zealand domestic season 2022/23

He struggles against genuine 145+ pace bowlers, and on fast pitches. Needs to figure out his scoring options against quicks. He's also not physically fit enough.

Tyson Fury is now fighting a guy who was KOed in one punch by Mairis Briedis, a cruiserweight. Usyk beat Briedis. But of course, Usyk is too small.

Btw the correct way of saying his surname should be Sharr not Charr. It's only spelled Charr because of the French way of pronouncing Ch is like Sh and the Syrians and Lebanese usually transliterate to a French ear.

I already called this back a couple of pages ago. Tyson Fury is quite predictable once you know his schtick Yes plus take the pressure off making a fight with Usyk.

Yup. - should have left Barry after a couple of years and gone with a proper trainer. Probably should have actually moved his family over to the states as well. Can't get good sparring in NZ. - the friendship with Fury is just weird. Why would you want to be friends with someone who you should...

I think AJ and Wilder have enough power to KO him early, and they would deal with him the easiest of the top heavyweights. It's actually a tough fight for Usyk and Fury even. It's one thing going 5 rounds with him, going 12 is very difficult if you don't have that truly elite power.

Definitely got that one wrong haha. Joyce is a monster. Insane engine, excellent jab. A bit Foreman-esque.

I will put big money on a draw in the Fury vs AJ fight. So much money in a rematch and they'll both get to forget about Usyk. Usyk is no fool and understands this hence why he's calling for Wilder so he can at least stay relevant.

Re: GGG Something like 400 amateur fights wasn't it? And then some wars with the likes of Derevyanchenko, and Murata recently. Add in decades of sparring and yeah, if guys don't get brutally KOed they end up not being able to pull the trigger. Should retire. Has made the $$$ now.

I think he legite wants to fight AJ. He is trying to find any reason not to fight Usyk. If I was managing him I'd direct him to do the same thing.

So if Joshua fights Fury, and there's a rematch clause for Fury... ...I will be putting my money on a draw or a contentious AJ win. There's wayyyyyy too much money in the rematch, and Fury wants no part of Usyk, they're going to try to freeze him out.

I'm not mad at the AJ-Fury fight but I think it is another barrier to undisputed. I am still not sure that Fury will ever fight Usyk, and this puts another wedge between the fight happening. It is a very calculated move from Fury, and I understand the business sense to it. - brings the big...

As I said at the time, Joshua deserves huge praise for taking the first Usyk fight. At that time, people actually believed Usyk was too small and people were underwhelmed by his performance against Chisora. Only boxing heads rated Usyk. It's thanks to Joshua that we can dispense with the too...

No, Usyk doesn't want to fight for anything but undisputed. He has specifically stated that it's undisputed or nothing. No mandatory will be called unless Fury/Warren try to pull shenanigans. If the fight doesn't happen within the next 6 months it is 100% Fury ducking.

Lol that was so cringey when AJ was on the mic. Usyk was awesome as always. Fury wants no part of him.

Usyk-AJ rematch this week. So excited. Such a great fight. I am not understanding the people who think the result is a foregone conclusion, and I think Joshua is being severely underrated. I've rewatched the first fight, it was very competitive. Could be argued it was 4-4 going into round 9...
