I mean I've been wrong before. It's heavyweight boxing. Just calling what I'm seeing. Joyce is a good fighter with a good jab, good chin and excellent engine and mental fortitude. He is limited though, and he will struggle against a) people who can outgun him (e.g. Joshua and Wilder would...

I don't really gamble but yeah if I did I think I'd take those odds. I think if Parker has any motivation left (very debatable) and is in good condition for this fight (also a big if) it's an easy fight for him just based in the styles. I am struggling to see how Joyce hits Parker at all in...

Stylistically, you would back Parker in the fight. It's a fight he should win, and should win rather easily. But Parker is inactive and unambitious ever since his payday in the AJ fight, so who knows what to expect. His engine has always been suspect, and given he only fights once a year these...

Think if AJ loses to Usyk again he should pursue the Wilder fight. Will still be huge IMO and is guaranteed to be good viewing. They can both sail off into the sunset after that or even make it a trilogy if it goes well.

Wow! That's a fantastic win for Opetaia! A new star

Tl:dr, if Briedis is still near this level then it might be a very tough night for Opetaia

From the highlights he looks a talent but the guys he's been fighting he's been able to stay on the outside and outbox easily. Someone like Briedis will be much better at cutting off the ring and also countering over the top. That's if Briedis is still interested of course, which is always a...

Jai Opetaia's team must have a lot of confidence in him to go from fighting nobodies to fighting Mairis Briedis. Any of the Aussies know much about Opetaia?

Exceptional It's a very good year for boxing. Jesse Rodriguez with an exceptional performance beating up and stopping Rungvisai, should probably put him on the p4p list. I wonder if we could one day see Inoue vs Rodriguez.

Yeah I think that's worth it, just based on the styles. Beterbiev has been dropped before. It's gonna be brutal either way.

Inoue Donaire 2 is a great fight. Beterbiev vs Joe Smith Jr is scary scary scary. Someone is going to get seriously hurt in that fight. Probably Smith Jr but...Beterbiev is kinda old now and he's definitely hittable. This is a really good year for boxing IMO.

I wonder if Shakur Stevenson is gonna go up to 135. Him vs Haney could be a very interesting fight for the purists.

That's why I give him a lot of respect for not doing that.

Think this was a bad style for him. Kambosos has done things the hard way and definitely deserved to be champion. He's good, and there are plenty of other good fights out there for him. Teofimo rematch would be good, Lomachenko when he returns, Ryan Garcia, Tank Davis etc etc. It's a hot...

Respect to both guys for making the fight. - Kambosos could have easily taken an easy fight in his homecoming - Haney could have easily ducked the fight given that it was all on Kambosos' terms, including the rematch clause.

Right. It's not simply a case of bumrushing the guy. If he tries that, Usyk will just time him and knock him dafuq out. I actually thought AJ fought extremely well and with a very good game plan in the first fight. He tried to take center ring and use straight punches. He wasn't trying to box...

Yeah i don't know what to make of Benevidez either. Sometimes he looks really open defensively. Ike was a beast but was 100% juiced out of his mind
