    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

This is really some brave stuff from Pujara but from an Aussie POV, this further highlights that the current bowling attack is seriously one-dimensional. Pujara was aware that, that was the only way Aussies were trying to get him out and yet no Australian fast bowler bowled any substantial...

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Really mate? What part of my post made you feel that I was defending the "puritan" souls of Australian cricket or the cricket board? Talk is always cheap as it is with Australians or any other team, like an absolute idiot a guy like Gilchrist has walked off without nicking the ball in a world...

***Official*** India vs England 2021 General Discussion thread

This is the general mistake visiting teams make in the sub-continent, unless the pitch is an absolute dust-bowl an average visiting spinner can only play a supporting holding role. How the fast bowlers use reverse swing and variable bounce can to a large extent decide which way the game goes in...

***Official*** India vs England 2021 General Discussion thread

I don't know if England's victory is extremely unlikely, especially if their core middle order of Bairstow, Root, Stokes and Butler negate/counter attack the Indian spinners. Putting the runs on board is hard part for visiting teams in Asia, if England manage that, they seem to have decent mix...

*Official* Big Bash League 10 2020-21

The genuine question is, why do Heat and The Renegades even bother. Crappiest teams in history of BBL these two.

***Official*** India vs England 2021 General Discussion thread

Honest question, if England manage to do the unthinkable and somehow beat India after the high of the Australian tour, will Kohli's captaincy be under any risk?

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Mate.... there are media managers, social media teams, press handlers with the squad at all times. Even if the players were naive enough to not know how quickly this whole thing escalated, surely those guys knew. Back in the day, if Mark Waugh and Shane Warne were made to sit in a press...

    Australian test selection 2020/21

MCG or Adelaide are the best decks for a bowler like him I think, so a gradual push through the ranks within those set-ups would help.

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Shahid Afridi captain of Pakistan was caught on camera munching into a cricket ball like an apple during a game in Australia, can't recall Pakistan cricket board making him do a press conference and admitting he did it with an intention to cheat and his senior players were also aware about it...

    Australian test selection 2020/21

That's why I used the word develop, Jon Holland is Victoria's favored FC spinner. He at best is a serviceable option at first class level, but he hardly brings anything to national equation so scouting for more options is the only way to improve depth.

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

The punishments for Smith and Warner had little to do with what they did and everything to do with CA looking out for themselves. Warner and Smith were faces of the ACA players movement in demanding better pay structure, for every Australian player starting from the very grassroots, however...

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Every team is a bogey team for Starc when the ball isn't swinging. Mitch Johnson despite all the frustrations he used to cause to an Australian fan, had the ability to bowl a mean bouncer, persevere with a fifth stump line to a RHB from over the wicket and stamina to bowl fast through the day...

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Mate, the day Australian players (former or current ) publicly make statements that opposition players shouldn't whine when them or their family is abused by the crowd, just because such behavior happens everywhere, that will be the day I stop supporting the Australian team. My post had less to...

    Australian test selection 2020/21

That won't be a bad call either, but at 18 he probably still is a bit young for grinds of test cricket. Also on those up and down slow Asian pitches, Hatzoglou can prove trickier to face compared to a conventional spinner.

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Pretty much, that sentiment is basically the core of their rivalry with the Poms.

    Australian test selection 2020/21

Lyon was basically a groundskeeper and literally had very little to no FC xp to his credit before making his test debut. Got to develop players based on their basic skills, no point waiting for a finished article show up in the current Shield environment.

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Aus went to South Africa in 2019 for a short limited overs tour, needless to say they were booed and abused brutally, vile **** apparently also came towards Labus.

    Australian test selection 2020/21

Hatzoglou is bit of bolter atm, but surely he will be pretty hard to face especially on pitches in Asia. Bit of Rashid Khan and Kumble to him, if selectors can pick Lyon on the back of BBL they can sure consider him too.

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

First thing first, nobody is defending cheating, but let's stop acting as if Warner and Smith just woke up one day and were like... let's scratch them balls in public today with nice and rough piece of sandpaper. South Africa is the only place in the cricketing world where it is apparently ok...

    4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

Former Saffers and some guys like De Kock told Australians to get on with it, when their players and crowds alike made personal trashy comments on Australian players, especially Warner and his wife who was expecting a baby at that time, their justification was that since Australian crowds are...
