    Of course the big question is if only 5 balls of an over are bowled does it count as a maiden? Jordan potentially denied a quadruple wicket-maiden on a technicality.

    It's a self-imposed wound though, tbf. RA just needs to get real and select the best Australian-qualified players regardless of where they play their club rugby. Saffers do and it hasn't done the Boks any harm, has it? Fair to guess union's a far bigger deal in the Republic than Oz too.

    Not quite up there with Van de Velde at the 99 Open or (surely the field leader) Norman at the US Masters in 96, but still a bottle job for the ages. Still only 35 though (Faldo was 38 when he won his last major) but it's ten years now since Rory claimed one, so yeah, dunno.
