    ***Official*** Australia in Sri Lanka

Yeah, different sort of losing the plot though. Aussies can hack it when someone is all over the shop, but look very very poorly on someone who dead set runs out of gas.

Adelaide 2010 - the fact Bollinger had so many points in the bank before that match ensured that he wasn't put on the 'never to play for Australia again' list - but his performance that match was for all intents and purposes career ending. Can't recall seeing an Aussie bowler lose the plot like...

Not sure we'll see Dougie in the baggy green for a while, don't know if they'll trust him for a Test tour, especially in conditions as difficult as SL. 25th on the contract rankings suggests to me his Test days could be over. That said, he might be first picked, just can't tell with our...

Yep, Pattinson making the list suggests that he has some sort of Test ranking (eg. Warner would have a high T20 and mid-low OD ranking but wouldn't rank in the Tests - Pattinson would have needed to rank in all 3 to get a contract) so would be amazed if he missed out to Starc or Copeland...

I reckon if there is a smokey, it will probably be James Pattinson over Starc and Copeland.

    *Official* First Test at Lord's

Na he'd have bowled last over if that was the case.

    *Official* First Test at Lord's

Has to be an over-rate thing, or it is one of the worst pieces of captaincy in recent memory. Or it might just pay off and make us all look silly.

Geoffrey Boycott: ICC's Dream XI is a joke - it has no credibility

Dare I say, Boycs is right. Only suprise in his XI is that he didn't pick himself.

Who is the best allround fielder ever?

Really can't split M Waugh and Ponting from what I've seen of them. Waugh much better in the slips than Ponting but Punter would have hit the timber more often and slightly quicker in the outfield. Really very little separating them. If I had to choose a bloke to catch for my life I'd go Waugh...

    Australian Domestic Offseason 2011

Understand where you are coming from boys re: the team names but we've gotta get our heads around it cause they aren't going to change to something more identifiable - may as well get used to it now. Keep on truckin' brockley, always got good juice for us.

    Zimbabwe 'A' v Australia 'A' v South Africa 'A'

Haha, I know what your saying, but Nevill hasn't exactly got an iron-clad grip on the NSW spot, he's got his work cut out there.

    Zimbabwe 'A' v Australia 'A' v South Africa 'A'

I'm a huge Tim Paine fan and really like him as a longer form player. But his ODI selection does confuse me a bit. He's not the most dynamic batsman going around, but I think he got the jump before Wade really properly got going for the Vics. He's got some things thoguh that will make him a...

Does Kevin Pietersen deserve the axe in ODIs?

Reckon the real problem with KP in OD cricket is the blokes around him. T20 they can all just have a bash and if it comes off great; Test matches they can just bat time but OD stuff is a pretty delicate balance. For a significant period of time now (certainly till Morgan arrived) he was...

Not Enough Pace for this Level

Yeah, became a real issue for Shaun Pollock too from memory towards the end for him. In a suprising development, I agree with your points. Only thing I would suggest though is once we dropped Clark, even though he wasn't gonna take bagfulls, we did lose the ability to tie up an end effectively...

    Famous Rob!

Congrats Rob, some great recognition for the outstanding videos. For Aussie cricket tragics like us, seeing that domestic stuff again is just unreal. Hoping the exposure doesn't tip off the fun police though!

    Australian Domestic Offseason 2011

Any word on Adam Crosthwaite and South Australia? Wonder if it went pear shaped, thought it was a lock a few months back.

**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

Sky crew not exactly loving the selection of Cook as ODI skipper. Will be interesting to see how it goes - not so much today, but over the next 6 months or so, and the affect it has on both forms of the game that he plays.

2015 World Cup: 10 teams and no associates

Good to hear associates are back. Not so pleased to hear that there are 14 teams - reckon it should have been 12, by and large only 2 associates tend to be competitive, the others just take up space. Reckon a qualifying tournament between Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Ireland, the Dutch etc would have...

    Goodbye to runners

It will still take place. A lot of bowlers now are that highly skilled that they can reverse the ball that is about 20 overs old, and even less if conditions suit. 2 balls much better scenario than the stoopid changing of balls at 35 overs IMO.
