    Highlights of the games

The crowds were amazing, full houses at every event I watched, just like the rugby wc the French really do come out and support all events well. Other than domestic football where games are often abandoned. The arenas were great to, the set up for fencing was unreal.

One of the biggest disappointments I had watched a live test that was.

If you trained for five years…

I've played football rugby and cricket to a fairly decent standard all my life yet the one time I ran a marathon I trained hard but still took 4.27. Getting that down to 3 hours would take years itself.

If you trained for five years…

You probably could as you sound like you have a head start on the average Joe. I've seen you mention running before and I reckon your pb is quite close to 3 hours already?

I love keely and her winning so easily was amazing but slightly disappointed she didn't go for the double like Kelly did. Ingubritsen competed in about 3 or 4 events. I still think she wins the 800m even if she goes for the 1500 too.

If you trained for five years…

I think I remember mo farah's average marathon speed being quicker than a lot of people can run in the 100m

If you trained for five years…

I think a lot of people could get down to a 3 hour marathon if trained constantly for 5 years but getting down to sub 2 hour 20 no way

I just watched the highlights of this. Surely there are better breakdancers than this in the world. But they probably are doing it on the street rather than for a club therefore not going through qualifications. I've seen much better in many music videos

Worst Sport/Event in the 2024 Olympics - submissions

Cycling can be a bit weird, French guy last night fell off his bike and got lapped 3 times. Never made those laps back up but still won the race.

It annoys me when sprinters pull up before the line in finals. Tebogo eased off with 8m to go. Someone who knows better than me, how many tenths of second would he have been quicker if he carried on flat out? 19.35 could have been achieved?
