Aus to win 2-1 Bumrah 24 wickets and Cummins 22 wickets.

Is Bumrah the best cricketer India has ever produced?

    It's English humor.

    Softest cricketer (smallest heart)

Gautam Gambhir in that 2011 UK tour, where he complained of a minor discomfort and forced Dravid to open.

How much did slip cordons affect McGrath's and Wasim's records?

That is correct. But you can also factor in different bowling styles. Asif who was similar to McGrath rarely bowled in the corridor and always attacked stumps.

How much did slip cordons affect McGrath's and Wasim's records?

As much as I agree that McGrath got very few dismissals through lbw and bowled, he never needed exceptional slip fielding actually. It's not that Mark Waugh was flying all the time to his left and right when McGrath bowled.

Is Bumrah the best cricketer India has ever produced?

He's smarter and less ****y version of Ashwin.

    Well played South Africa

They didn't choke, just ran into a once in a generation bowler.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

It sucks to be a Bangladesh fan. Afghanistan are already evolving into a more competitive side within a relatively short span of time since their inclusion.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

Pre 2010s Indian fans were aggressively passionate about the game (sometimes entering toxic obsession). Things have changed a lot since social media became a norm. Even today, the celebrations are kind of normal.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

We won besides brainfade from Pant and Sky, also Kohli batting like Babar Azam. Goes to show how awesome Bumrah is.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

It deserves to be an another Bumrah fanboying thread to be honest. However, the evolution to a comparison thread happens naturally.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

I'm a bigger Bumrah fan boy than you. I watch his magic delivery gifs when bored at work.

But then you also need to factor in relatively mediocre techniques of modern day batters too. Not only technique, but the old school patience of grinding it out for 2 days and facing 500 - 600 deliveries is rare these days. Either way, Bumrah will certainly rank among 10 fast bowlers of all time.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

The over before Klaasen got out went for four runs, that upset his rhythm and made him chase the wide ball that should have been left. It was a bad ball from Pandya which got an even worse response from Klaasen

Better than Waqar and 3rd best from subcontinent if he maintains the quality till the end of his career.

The FINAL- South Africa vs India (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 29th

It was not Klaasen's wicket but Bumrah's 3rd over which changed the game. Best bowler in last 15 years after Steyn.

    Peak Shoaib vs Peak Johnson

Johnson would be more lethal on pacy wickets of Durban or Perth or Barbados. That slingy fast left arm action is harder to read. Always got this feeling that Johnson's short ball was more deadly even though he appeared slower on the speed gun. On any other pitch, its Akhtar. Full, fast, lbw or...

Shoaib vs Bumrah vs Mohd Asif

Nah, Srinath was overrated. Hyping him up tells a lot about the fast bowling drought our country had to endure for decades. Having said that, when he got his length right, he could be unplayable and extracted lots of movement off the ground. But otherwise a harmless bowler.
