Dude it’s a fast bowler. Last thing you want is injury in garbage time. Protect him when you can. I don’t know what purpose this would possibly serve. Get them out for a hundred fewer? Who gives a crap?

Also lest we forget, the last tour of Australia, India was 36 all out in the first Test and it looked pretty grim before they came back to win the series. So it’s a long long series with a lot of time. One of the major reasons for that win was that by the Gabba, the Aussie bowlers looked spent...

Well sundar hasn’t bowled a ball yet I think? And reddy has barely bowled. They’ll be up for it. Shami may come in so at least one quick will be switched out next game. IMO some miles in a few of the young guys is a good thing whereas it’s unnecessary and probably counterproductive for...

IMO after another wicket, maybe two at most, Bumrah should not bowl himself much at all. Save his legs for a long series and give the other quicks and Sundar some game time to get them some rhythm and confidence in the middle. cause they’ll be rotated through the series.

Just my own example, I used to play cricket every day as a kid but I never held an actual cricket ball in my hands until I came to the US as a teenager.

IMO just access to actual cricket equipment and more importantly, the economic opportunity to do so, and even more importantly, pathways and access where you could be from anywhere and have a structure by which you can rise through the ranks.

I thought they were mentioning cracks but this pitch looks like a belter.

Vaughan just flat out trolling Australia for the last 10 minutes.

So they have this really nice 360 degree camera views....where tf was that view during the Rahul review in the first innings?

Nah, that's too long. You never know if the pitch is gonna deaden. You want to give yourself time and not give Australia hope of just being able to do a blockathon.

But yeah, I agree with you; I think you really grind them down if you are able.

If they are still batting at or at least near the end of play, probably the lead should be around 450ish at that point. So at that point, I don't think you really need many runs.

I would say India should aim to bat so maybe they can bowl 10 overs tonight at Australia? Or go further and wait until close to lunch tomorrow? If they can obviously.

Dude. You are objectively wrong about this. People simply did not have access.

Probably China and swimming is not the best example; but absolutely there is zero doubt that the GDP growth is very much tied to improvement in access. People don't realize that for a significant portion of Indian history, cricket players basically came from the upper classes in Mumbai. As...

I am of this view as well. 300 about par for chase and it's India with the edge with anything above.

Not sure about that. 400+ chases are still pretty rare in Tests.
